This was amazing. Choreography was so on point. It’s so cool how they’re twisting the rules and stuff to give us a unique take with the knowledge we have from Zero and Stay Night. Also, the callback Waver had because Gilgamesh is the one who killed his hero but spared him….cinema. ✋😐🤚

The good thing is that I've been able to start this series without too much prior knowledge of everything that came before it. Holy Grail War, this version is faked by the Americans. Masters and Servants. Some of the servants are envisioned as legendary or mythological people from history. They're all going to air out this war in an American city now.

Yes, episode 0 showed that Flat summoned Jack the Ripper as a Berserker, who can basically transform into anything. Flat made him turn into a watch cause he thought it looks cool

Hansa glazing the Burial Agency is well warranted, they're so damn cool It's basically an organization that exists in another story made by the same author called Tsukihime whose members are chosen purely on the basis of how powerful they are and their goal is pretty much to wipe out high ranking vampires, more specifically the 27 Dead Apostle Ancestors who are all also pretty broken It's made up of a Director (Narbareck) and 7 seats including one reserve seat and to put into perspective how strong they are iirc the average mage can output around 20 units of magical energy, Rin (fate/stay night) is considered a prodigy among mages and she can output around 500 units of magical energy, while the 7th seat holder of the burial agency Ciel (heroine in Tsukihime) can output 5000 units of magical energy so they really are on a whole different level.

Quick notes: - the fkn delivery package from shishigou is actually shishigou kairi from fate apocrypha! holy, it makes sense because of the hydra poison! - next episode should explain why there was a note left there by the servant (no, it's not pinnochio) - if u recall in episode 0, berserker (jack the ripper) does not have a real form because he has never been confirmed in person by humanity. He is a collection of rumors, fears, theories and so on. Because of this ambiguity he is formless and is more of a concept. Generally, the Throne of Heroes gives form to a hero depending on historical truth, humanity's perception and legend. And because Jack lacks in some of the points noted, he can be anything and anyone. That's why in episode 0 he has shown he can be a policeman, a woman, or in this case, a watch. He is a conceptual existence and this is albeit niche, a very powerful servant. - and yes, there will be 6 more servants, the "actual" servants of the grail war as explained in the episode. So we will have 13 servants in total. - the next episode will be fire!

Idk if yall missed it or not but the police chief or wtv was talking about starting “the other” one. I think the first 6 summoned were for an artificially made fake war. A real grail war might actually start and Saber just so happened to be the first servant to be summoned into the real one. 13 whole servants boutta be out in the city fighting. This is a free for all though, two teams were not set up beforehand 🤣 There probably will be another unique servant role like a Ruler or something maybe but idk if they’ll be someone summoned to oversee like in apocrypha or if they’ll actually participate 🤔 since in apocrypha it was team 1 vs team 2. Maybe this is how apocrypha became possible in the far far future 🤣 they saw they could summon more than 7 servants and some decided to start having vs battles against other mages 🤣

Somehow I doubt that "getting shot from another ZIP-code" was on the list of things Tiné prepared for, but with Gilgamesh it'll be alright (I guess?) Also, at least so far, to me it sounds like they might actually have 2 Holy Grail wars mixed into one in that city - one "fake" Grail War with only 6 spirits, that people found out about (and maybe even was started as some sort of distraction/decoy) - one "legit" Grail War with all 7 classes, that they're just now figuring out is getting started because they were focused on the first one sooo...if that holds up we might actually see 2 of each class, except saber(?)
