They changed Charon's death in the anime and it definitely feels lackluster, in the manga he still blows himself up but it's a massive explosion and Maki and Hinawa have to redirect it and they redirect it at Dragon who is floating above them and it launches him into space lol. I guess they didn't have time to put that in the anime with the amount of episodes they're doing

I disagree i think benis doppleganger might actually be stronger. The dopplegangers arent opposites of you theyre what people think of you so they can be opposite of your actual personality sometimes like remember with shinra and the tattoos how arthur said that it was a rumor that he had some and so when his doppleganger took over he had some put on. Or they could be like the doppleganger for burns they keep showing us where i imagine he’s probably super strong or something cause everyone in the force respects him. So i think these dopplegangers appearing are going to be huge problems and i think the earlier fight with the previous captain is going to have something to do with it because everyone there saw how strong beni was and now they probably think higher of him powering up the doppleganger. Either way im excited for him to show up.

Now that Adolla and reality are linked, those with stronger imaginations will dictate reality, while those with weaker ones will be drawn along for the ride. So Arthur’s delusions are becoming strong enough to physically manifest and drag others into them. Vulcan and Lisa would normally be strong enough to resist something like that, but between the battle and everything that went on with Yuu, it was easier to get swept away into Arthur’s delulus.

What Arthur lacks in intelligence he makes up for in great intuition. His perception has always been highlighted as superhuman (like he was the first to catch how Sho's ability worked in their first meeting or not being fooled by perfect disguises). This makes me think of the TV world in persona 4. Everyone's collective imagination of people made manifest like the Shadows. Now its bleeding into the real world and if a lot of people think such-and-such is unstoppable then their doppelganger will be exactly how you imagined them.

IIRC, doppelgangers are based on people's perception of that person. So the reason Beni's old captain felt weaker is because the people, towards the end of his life, only thought of him brute that craved destruction. Not necessarily "strong". Despite him caring so much for his people that he was willing to look like the bad guy to some. And that is where his real strength came from, so that wasn't reflected in his dopple. Beni on the other hand? A lot of people talk about him like he's the Gojo of this universe. Meaning he could potentially be absolutely terrifying in terms of power. Unless the collective conscious about him is something like "Benimaru is all powerful, but wouldn't hurt a fly"; it's probably gonna be tough.
