All the mentions of Colorado in the first two episodes triggered it, but when I saw Agent Jane again, I remembered that the actress Nicole Brydon Bloom is married to Justin Theroux, who's the real Robert House on Fallout. Funny coincidence! And then you see all the similarities about bunkers, people searching for their family, and the concept of time... And Jane has no fear about killing or taking people out in a glorified underground bunker community.

once Earth undergoes "runaway greenhouse" (trapping all the outgoing heat) effect, it is nearly impossible to reverse it, pretty much what happened to Venus. So, no Earth will go back to "normal". Venus has been like that for at least 500 million years. Also, I understand the logical thing to do would be telling people that the pressure will kill you but that would cause mass panic.

“No bars in your town” is what Collins said to Billy. And him predicting Billy would need a tissue for his nose bleed as well makes me think that Henry can somehow see in the future or something. I think Alex is the name of the project or whatver it is he was working on that Sinatra wanted

Prediction: I'm pretty sure it's time travel or some kind of time thing cause the guy Sinatra was drinking with said the only thing that could stop the Venus effect or whatever was time, and the professor was talking to Billy about quantum entanglement. Also, when Xavier was having those visions of Link his nose would start bleeding like Billy's. Both Link and Xavier had facial hair in those shots, so I think those are flashes forward, not back. Not to mention, when Link was pillow talking, he said there's something dangerous in that compound in Colorado and they were going there to take it out. The only reason I picked up on the time stuff was because I accidentally watched episode 3 before episode 2 lmao.

Also…the President sent the scientists to the surface not Sinatra. They recently brought that up on the podcast they started airing after each episode. Remember the President and Sinatra had a fight about it after he saw what happened and that’s when he realized he had no real power.

Has there been an answer given to how people are selected to survive in the mountain bunker? I've been wondering this since last season. I was thinking about the bartender. He's serving the only bar left in the world. How did he get chosen? Is he the world's greatest bartender? If you're friends with somebody that had a seat, or I noticed Sinatra had a servant who looked to me like a woman of color imagine surviving the apocalypse to still serve white people?

Another question: if you were living in paradise, even as totalitarian as it's starting to feel, would you want the doors open? So anyone could come in when, you know, you have limited resources down there and the surface world is like Mad Max, would you want anyone able to go in and out?

As for the bartender, there was a flashback sequence in Ep 1 where he said he's only there because his wife was some important scientist. So I guess after the billionaires and their close friends/family, they went for scientists/researchers/scholars of a certain caliber and their immediate families.

My thing is, based on what the guy was talking about with Sinatra at the bar flashback scene, the Earth is literally gonna be cooked. To the point where it'll be much more than a few decades of hiding out underground; if the planet ends up like Venus they literally need to leave Earth or just stay underground permanently because that sort of climatological disaster is not gonna correct itself in a few years.

Genuinely confused on how some can't infer who likey Alex actually is after multiple flags this ep (Sinatra's kid question, specifically her kid count she didnt answer, mention the guy started this for Huntington's to save his wife whose name is also Alex, Sinatra had shakes last season, showing why Link as the protege wants to kill Alex knowing their "family is dead", Sinatra knowing the name, etc). It's most likely just her kid, and she likely has a neurodegenerative genetic disease she passed on to him she's trying to cure; Alex is likely one of her kids name as she's trying to cure him while Link is looking to kill her sick one as payback and help save his new family. Now if that cure is a wonder drug for all life or electrical signals (based off it being huntingtons mentioned), including the environment, it could be the fix for the apocalypse too

At first I was thinking that Alex might be a secret kid, especially because of the questioning. But idk the program being called Alex makes a little more sense to me 🤔

Yea, you are confused. That guy doesn't say anything about his research or business saving his wife. You can see on the paperwork, his company is called Vestige Quantum. That's quantum mechanics which is physics, not medicine. He says the class he teaches, which Link is a student in, is "Advanced wave functions, superposition, and quantum entanglement." The entanglement part is what Einstein called spooky action at a distance, or the idea that two particles, physically unconnected and separated by a distance, can instantaneously effect one another. Superposition is wave-particle duality, which is the idea that a particle exists in a number of states simultaneously until measured. And advanced wave functions have to do with retrocausality, which is the idea the future events can influence past ones. Considering homeboy knew Billy was about to get a nosebleed and gave him a tissue, this seems like some time fuckery stuff. I think Sinatra's probably using his research for some predictive models or future viewing to determine when the Earth's surface might be livable again, and possibly using some entanglement and superposition stuff to manipulate atmospheric and geologic processes to try to counteract the Venus Syndrome. Link probably thinks that Sinatra is playing God with Alex and knows, or thinks, it's flawed and that it is making things worse. For all he knows, or we know, Sinatra could have used the thing to set off the Antarctic volcano herself because some prediction that the outcome would be more favorable than just waiting for it to erupt naturally. And why wouldn't Torabi know that Sinatra has another kid. She has been her sole client since her last kid died, and been working closely with her to get Paradise going, so how would Sinatra get pregnant and have a child without Torabi noticing. The craziest thing, my man, is you think that Link convinced any of those people to go along with a plot to kill a little sick kid??

there is obviously some time travel going on. the guy told sinatra the one thing she cant buy that would save them is time. also xavier was getting flashes of the future. The big project involvs complex quantum entanglement so i assume future sight, sending minds back or forward in time, or something. I think alex is really the guys wife but just her mind
