I’ve personally been seeing manga panels from this since 2008, and After 20+ years since it started back in 2004 during the beginning of the Big3 and with a year later in 2005 Araki decided this isn’t enough for him, he’ll let them shine and have their fun, only to aspire into true greatness in the heavens. This will be the running while dancing, styling on all our favs like nothing else ever mattered and is already currently the highest rated thing across anime websites. We gather here today on Saint Joseph’s day (human father of Jesus) at the end of the winter equinox on the same day of the month that’s the same age for MC (Johnny being 19 years old) to witness the peak of entertainment media. THIS IS HOW YOU WRITE A STORY BEYOND MEASURE. THIS IS WHAT IS MEANS TO BE ENTERTAINED.

JoJo’s SBR is the most universally acclaimed arc of all time and only #2 behind Berserk due to lack of popularity yet ironically for a demographically wider audience being a mix of both Shonen (demographic for teens) and Seinen (demographic for adults) The true best thing since sliced bread and 2nd coming of Jesus. No matter what anyone’s agenda or sensibilities/tastes are, SBR aims to please or at least entertain on all critical fronts. The biggest concern was how they would animate the horses since they are notoriously difficult to animate in general, so just the fact that it even looks this good is promising. Also Fun Facts: The same team that worked on Golden Wind returned to work on this part, and 50 million back in 1890 is worth 1.78 billion today adjusted for inflation. Due to copyright of its musical references, it took initially 25 years for JoJo’s to get an adaptation, and now after another 13+ years we have finally made it to this seemingly unadaptable (due to its detailed art style) grand pinnacle of adventure. Parts 1 - 3 is about setting the ground for the JoJo’s, parts 4 - 6 is exploring the Bizarre, and now Parts 7 - 9 is the Adventure like no other. The bizarre reflection of our reality and a celebration of humanity. Part 7 onwards is the “The Good, The Bad and Ugly” of Everything. The true point and message behind the series which started to reveal itself with part 5- Araki “It deals with the sorrow of being born, about having no choice in life or only one place where one belongs, The sadness of a character in the dark underbelly of society, human relationships, friend versus enemies, the Beauty of betrayal, those are the themes.” Now the follow up part everyone focuses on “The men are important, Beautiful men, drawing beautiful men was the main focus” And lastly The most essential and critical part everyone ignores or forgets “The Beauty in meeting one’s doom…..Men who can only exist in that world” = The True Man’s World.

Oh and to Roshi I know everybody sees things differently and it’s probably the main factor to why you enjoy this series as your favorite but “Peak nonsense” no longer applies, although really hasn’t applied since part 4. It’s time to crank your brain power up to 100% as there is a method to the madness, you’re gonna need it. Appreciate the writing quality more than anything else. To Sheera, in case this man insists on looking at it through just a meme worthy nonsensical lens, activate your Sheeragan at all times.

And we’re getting more news on follow up episodes on the 28th, guaranteed to return between either this summer or fall broken up into parts, and a total of 50 episodes like Stardust Crusaders. Likely to be weekly or at least ideally if Netflix knows what’s good for them but we’ll see

This shit is definitely not tame like Part 2 LOL. But one thing to take into account is that this part is literally a 24 volume manga and long as fuck. I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up making this 50-60+ episodes. So everything ain’t going to play out or reveal itself in just the first episode but that’s the good part, the payoff is rewarding af. Also, definitely check out some of the manga art, Lupa. Roshi is right about Araki always having good detail but the shit he drew for SBR is incomparable to his past Parts.

As another comment said, just remember part 1-5 happened the EXACT SAME, the only change is the events of p6 did not happen. This is a parallel universe that flows into p8 and 9, but it is not a “reset” as Pucci dying meant the universe went back to normal. Great reaction!

Pucci’s soul wasn’t transferred over it literally ceased to exist meaning the entire p6 cast didn’t have to suffer and led happy lives. Technically ppl who’ve never seen jojo can watch part 7 but there are going to be a lot of throwbacks and references you’ll only get if you watched part 1-6 like in this episode. Araki simply was going to make this its own series without the Jojo label after switching to Ultra Jump, then changed his mind and slapped Jojo’s back on it. Why?
