this is arguably the most violent thing Matts done and they literally slow down the scene so you can revel in the violence. i know its a superhero show and obviously you want to see the main character do cool shit, but the og show was able to say elevate it past just aura moments this is about the Daredevil news fight from last season where he puts the Billy Club sticks through his shoulder.

Matt's most graphic moments in the og show were always questioned, is he a hero or is this an excuse to beat the shit out of people?, while in BA it's played purely for hype moments and aura and this was a tweet from last night's episode

Yes and no, AVTF is most definitely just an allegory for ICE/Militant PD and are just going around oppressing and harassing innocents, but in this scenario the AVTF officer was literally 100% justified for punching that shopkeeper and arresting that kid regardless of whether or not he just happened to be there.
