I think they did this episode brilliantly. I think the reason Dr. Hiriluk didnt throw the bombs away Wapol was because he might of hit the prisoned doctors but the reaction was great as always.

Also the whole thing takes place outside the castle and Hirilulk drinks one last time before he dies (much cooler than live action version). Also chopper gets much more enraged about Hiriluk's death so the guard has to use his devil fruit power to stop him (also much much cooler).

it's been like more than 10 years since i saw Hiriluk's death scene n i still remember these lines n scenes from anime cuz this is like top 3 one piece character backstory, so i'm sad it's not 'fully' implemented in live action version

The only thing I think didn't properly come across was that Wapol was trying to trick other doctors to come to his castle... in this it looked like Hiruluk was just trying to like get through to the doctors or something, but I thought in the manga Wapol purposely spread false info that that the doctors were sick / needed help to bait people there

I will say this, the anime arc with chopper is ROUGH buddy. They made it during the catch up time for the manga, because I cant count how many times they'd replayed a prior scene in each episode (it felt soo long). The live action version is just right, even if they left out the giant bunnies.
