This episode covered through all but 6 pages in Chapter 31. The season will likely end on Chapter 40. As of writing there are currently 64 chapters released. If this season does well, I can see a third season happening in another two years or so.

Love the layers to this show it’s rather cool!! I still think it’s messed up Elfie just had a clone that inserted themselves in his life like that. Like he genuinely mourning him. I never read the books but I hope genuinely this gets touched on in show. I understand the intent behind it and she is still a young child even in such high position, but I disliked when stuff like this a show in general gets glossed or just “it’s all good” type beat.

Question: by watching danmachi rn, i noticed there's someone called Finn here aswell, same hair colour, shape of hair....is danmachi some form of sequel to wistoria, as how soul eater is to fireforce? Like if somehow Wistoria's storyline ends in some form of "sky opening", then all they are left with are the underground dungeons, which is what Danmachi's centered around. Idk, maybe a far reach theory...

It makes sense why will wasn't scouted though. Its gonna be hard pressed to change the mindset of a world founded on magic for decades. Then on top of that to them will cant use magic, obviously we know he can but they dont quite understand it. And heres a reason why I feel like he wasn't allowed to be scouted.. they gonna say wills use of other peoples spells doesn't count technically as using magic and if he cant produce the same result on his own(which what this show most likely is leading up to) then he cant be considered a mage.

It just hit me, but I'm so glad Will isn't delusional about Elfie. You only ever see them together in flashbacks, not in the present, so I'm happy he's not misremembering their relationship or having some weird one-sided delusion. She really does love him deeply. She's a real ride-or-die. She has this highly respectable, prestigious position, a job that's coveted by lots of people, very enviable, and she would give it all up to be with Will. Get yourself a girl like that, or don't get yourself a girl at all.
