Dallas

peak is almost done 🫩

Dallas

I feel so much for every version of Jonas (YES even that one)

glodgy

not sure if they have but they should watch 1899 afterwards

Inconspicuous Pug

Gonna ask Qifrey to erase my memory so I can rewatch these reactions from the beginning again

User10101

Just from the thumbnail I know this about to be good

Anaïs

Probably one of the best episode of any tv show

briana

Back in the first season in 1953, Agnes said that her grandmother is from Winden. Her grandmother is Hannah. Hanno is Noah's birth name, they mentioned it very briefly before. Hanno is the masculine form of Hannah. Also, Agnes saying that her husband (The Unknown/The Origin) being a man of faith is pretty much the go to. When you think about it pretty much every main character is related to Egon Tiedemann. And yeah, Noah did everything he did in season 1 because he was looking for Charlotte which is why he was so upset when he got Claudia's journal. He also found out that Elisabeth is his grandchild. That opening scene in season 2 of Noah killing Bartosz hits differently now as well as all of their interactions in season 1.

Hanno

I never thought that Middle Aged Jonas looked like Jonas but seeing Middle Aged Jonas without a beard changed that immediately

Hanno

Claudia only killed alt-Claudia when she found out that alt-Claudia had never met her older self. She's smart as hell

Hanno

Tannhaus told Charlotte that 2 women were talking outside his door the night she was dropped off and those 2 women were Charlotte and Elizabeth 💀💀

Zanni

I swear with this show it’s like Lupa has amnesia every episode😭

Hanno

Middle Aged Jonas playing Young Adam is easily the most horrifying thing in the show and him killing Hannah was so fucking dark

Joseph

roshiii you better look at that damn family tree

Hanno

That scene where everything comes full circle always gives me chills. Easily my favourite scene of the show

Xemnas27

That montage toward the end where we essentially see the show over again is one of the best scenes of all time. Holy cinema

Hanno

There's so much family killing in this show: Adam (son) kills Hannah (mother) Helene (mother) kills Katharina (daughter) Adam (nephew) kills Martha (aunt) Claudia (daughter) kills Egon (father) Agnes (sister) kills Noah (brother) Noah (son) kills Bartosz (father) Noah (great grandson) kills Claudia (great grandmother)

Zanni

They literally told us, and showed us, that it was *time travel* that scarred Jonas’s body like that. All that experimenting over the years cause that.

Esteban

Everybody related 🤣

A.

i was waiting for them to pick up on agnes having an affair with her paternal great great grandma doris and homewrecking so egon could become her maternal grandfather as well as her paternal great great grandfather.

Learning Leisure

“You can’t die Jonas…..” Most shows use “plot armor” as a crutch and try to hide it. Dark uses “plot armor” openly and show it as a fate worse than death. Lmao!!!

A.

Hannah is the origin. Everyone born as a result of time travel is her descendant. My goat homewrecking across time and space. I was convinced Noah was the older version of Bartosz during season 1. They do such a great job casting older/younger versions and parents/children.

Learning Leisure

Real talk though, gotta love how Noah is initially shown as a sinister villain, then it later turns out he’s a tragic figure trying work against an even more sinister villain, one that just killed his own mom. 🤣

Esteban

I love how you see the whole show in this episode 😮‍💨

CurseMark4Life

Roshi keeps waiting to see how Adam became so disfigured. They say 3 separate times the time traveling take it's toll on him. Through time traveling constantly to figure all of this shit out the radiation began to wear on him physically.

Joseph

this gonna hit better than crack on a rewatch

Esteban

Back in s2 I was wondering how long it would take them to know that Noah kills bartosz in that moment (his own dad) 💀

Learning Leisure

Wait seriously? Bruh, at this rate, Alabama is gonna be out of a job. 😂

l

multi dimensional time travel incest , NUKE THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE

Squaler

Queen Hannah!

mysterioussfox

This is the best Netflix show period. Nothing even comes close. A distant second place is either Ozark or Daredevil.

A.

And Mikkel/Michael kills himself (great great grandson and great great nephew) And we all thought Tronte killed his daughter, but it was still on her mother's orders.

A.

Silja was already a Tiedemann when she married Bartosz because she's his great aunt (grandma Claudia's half-sister)

AnnaSama

The family tree is a damn tumbleweed.

Oni Legend

So if we break it down….Bartosz is his own great great grandfather (Bartosz to Agnes, Agnes to Tronte, Tronte to Regina, Regina to Bartosz again)

LordSkan

Bartosz is Tronte's grandfather, and Tronte is Bartosz's grandfather. this show is crazy

Zacost

So Claudia’s mother cheat on her husband (Egon) with her grand grand grand daughter (Agnes). Also Noah and Agnes have egon has a grand father on their mother side but also has a grand grand grand father from the father side. The same way mikkel (who’s his own grandx4 father just like tores and Ulrich) married Hannah who’s his grandx4 mother from his grandx3 father side but also his grandx5 mother from his grandx3 mother side

Gilthwixt

Not quite. Tronte is Ulrich's father, not Regina's. The connection is Hannah sleeping with both Mikkel, creating the Jonas line, and Egon, creating Claudia's line. So the actual breakdown is that Jonas' Sister is also his Great Great Great Grandmother on one side, while being his own Great Great Great Grandfather on a different side.

Denzelwya

hanah being the worst mother is a crazy take

malfunct

"THIS SICK SHIT!" yup 😊

Forkenstein

shrodingers cat is so real i stg

malfunct

the way some characters are related in two different ways is so insane

Mxri

Jonas is defeated in every version of himself.. it's DEPRESSING. Poor kid.

dunk

This is my third rewatch im just now realizing Noah is Jonas half-uncle and his great great grand-nephew. Idk if i even knew what i was watching my first time tbh 😅

Mxri

WOW that escalated quickly after my first comment. Yikes.

AnnaSama

Truly! Knowing all of the relationships from the beginning is just as mind-melting as knowing none of them.

Paul-Junior Black

You guys normally drop these reactions at 8pm for me. How I come on at 7pm and see "5 hours ago". What kind of switch up is that 😂😂😂

cobra22

i wish they wouldve watched this show the same time they was watching loki they minds wouldve been mush lmao

Inug0d

Regina's is Tronte's, he had a secret relationship with Claudia. Remember he tried to tell Regina but came out weirdo to her.

King Medjai

They said it hellas ago. Adam said it to Jonas.

Paul-Junior Black

So this is where the super incest cycle is in Dark. 80% OF THE CHARACTERS IN THE SHOW ARE TIEDEMANNS. Egon Tiedemann has a child with Hannah. That is Silja Tiedemann. Silja Tiedemann and Bartozs Tiedemann who are grand aunt and grand nephew have Noah and Agnes Tiedemann. Noah is Charlotte's father so Charlotte, Elizabeth and Franziska are Tiedemanns through Noah. Agnes marries the origin who is Martha and Jonas's son and has Tronte. So Tronte is a Tiedemann through Agnes meaning Mads and Ulrich are Tiedemann so Martha, Magnus and Mikkel are Tiedemanns. Claudia has Regina Tiedemann who has Bartozs Tiedemann. So Bartozs starts the Tiedemann bloodline and ends the Tiedemann bloodline.

Paul-Junior Black

When Aleksander says "I took my wife's name because the Tiedemann's mean a lot to this town and we wanted to keep the name going". You realize all 4 major families in the show are made up of Tiedemann's but the only reason the Tiedemann name continued is because Aleksander took his wife's name

Mea

My brain melted halfway through the episode lol I'm still wrapping my head around Bartosz being Noah and Agnes' father. And then the fact that Silja is Jonas' sister got me again. I remember being on the side where people thought she was his daughter when she first appeared. Didn't cross my mind she'd be his sister instead. I also can't get over Jonas completing his Adam transformation by killing Hannah. I didn't think about where Hannah might have ended up during all this at all so that beyond shocked me.

Sandboxie

So we have tick tock for world 1 transition, we have *whoomp* for world 2 transition and we have screen ratio change from 16:9 to 21:9 for world 3?

dexota

Can some one explain me which martha adam nuked

Jaja

i watched this show years ago but i never realized noah kills his dad with a pickaxe lmaooo

King Medjai

Pretty sure they are so cooked they didn't mention that there a 2 of the same Martha's. One was cooked by Adam with 2 apocalypse nukes and the other just got her face cut. I thought the Martha that shot Jonas was a future version of the alternate Martha we see at the end of season 2, but no. It's an ALTERNATE version of alternate Martha lol bro WTF? 🤯

fluffypuppy2k

Please please 🥺 please watch Isekai oji-san please please 🥺🙏🙏

Raymond Terry

Wait a second, Noah (Hanno) killed his dad = Bartosz at the beginning of season 2. Holy shit

Nick

This family tree is nuts.

Jamaal Ellison

The goddamn family tree is in the shape of a bagel.

Delinda Arts

this is the brain sizzle episode but also the gap filler episode lol. shit is so nuts

camille

I saw on another video someone comment that it’s possible Silja named Hanno after her mother, Hannah. But i do think it can work as an anagram too. Also, i don’t think Silja knew who Jonas was when they meet in the future for the first time. If I’m remembering correctly, she even asks him “Why didn’t she kill you? Who are you?” after Elizabeth stops Jonas from dying by shooting him down. Which would make sense because the person she really met when she was younger was Adam, not Jonas.

Jamaal Ellison

No wonder Noah shot Claudia he thought she took his kid and evaded him all these years.

Ally 土

Claudia being the goat to me is timeless and no pun is intended

Zay C.

Umm… wtf

Roberto

say that again

Rachel G

There’s a couple of hints throughout the show that she’s not and Claudia has even said so. Won’t spoil further than that by telling you who, but if you’ve seen the last ep by now you should know who.

Araxiel

Yeah, even for me it took until this episode to realize "wait... we've never seen an old Hannah, have we?"

Araxiel

He nuked the Martha which came to young Jonas to save him, the one at the end of S2/start of S3. That's why Bartosz (tasked by Eva, her older Self) stops her from entering the house. That's where their divergence happens. So her path is: Martha sees Jonas killed, cuts her hair, talks to Bartosz, they bicycle to the power plant. On the way there old Magnus and Franziska appear and tell her to come with them to 2053. Adam explains to Martha she has to save young Jonas and hands her the travel ball (Sheera and Roshi misunderstood/forgot and Adam does know about multiple worlds, he literally says to nuke the origin he needs two world apocalypses lol). So Martha travels to 2020 and runs into the house and saves Jonas. She drops Jonas off in World 2. She then travels to 1888 to middle-aged Jonas, hands him one ball of juice, and leaves again, and returns to Adam in 2053. Adam puts her in the cage, and then nukes her. Meanwhile in an alternative version, right before she runs into the house, Martha is being intercepted by Bartosz, and brought to Eva. There Eva gives her the scar. And then this Martha is the one that shots Jonas, and then ultimately turns into Eva. As an aside, it's also Eva who will send out old Bartosz to save young Bartosz and recruit him to her cause. Or I guess she never "recruits him" because Bartosz has always been part of her cause because she's the one that sends out old Bartosz to save himself... another paradox. And yes, ironically this means the Martha that saves Jonas is being nuked, while that Jonas she saved is the one getting shot.

Samuela Shannon

Bartosz dated his great great granddaughter

Gottolf

Noah is a lot closer to Claudia than that. Noah is Claudia's nephew. He is both Jonas and Claudia's nephew, the same way Agnes is their niece. People tend to overlook that Silja is Claudia's sister as well.

Divinerights

Do people consider the final montage the loop going again or it showing what’s already happened?

John Travelle

Bartoz is Charlotte’s great-grandfather, and Silje is Bartoz’s grandmother’s sister. And Jonas is Bartoz’s great-great-great grandson

Derpin

I too forgot that Hannah was Jonas's mother. There so much stuff to keep track of that I legitimately forgot and it also doesn't help that they haven't had a scene together in awhile.

Bria A.

The ticking is for time travel, the whoosh is for dimensional travel; I'm not entirely sure what the aspect ratio changes symbolize.

Ayanda Mpofu

Haven't been this clapped in a while 😂.

Asher Ealey

I think it is sort of both. Because the show has established this concept of it being an infinite loop. But I think the montage was meant to bring everything full circle and show how each thing happened and why.

Asher Ealey

It’s lowkey funny how so much of this happens because the future versions of Martha and Jonas basically keep telling everyone “That mf was cappin”

Asher Ealey

Claudia is easily the most fascinating character of the series

The Depths of Abjection

me when i kidnap myself/my grandmother/my granddaughter to the past with my mother/daughter 💀💀

Jay

😂
