Yaboyworking? I did not expect to get anything so soon after Dreamcon.

Dallas

I’m such a sucker for these types of characters WE ALL FORGIVE PIKE 🙏🏽

Isaiah jaramillo

Your the goat, cant wait to watch these last two episodes with you guys

Krype

Caption has me worried

Kingbrick

Btw if u haven’t already, rewatch the show after this with the gang again, there was mad setup since episode two of season one for all of this, and Pikes reveal of her blood happened in season 3, I forgot about that too. Shiis crazy. Also i feel this show, is what it would’ve been like if the AVATAR FRANCHISE JUST KEPT ON COOKING FR instead of taking long hiatuses in between. I believe Matt really loves avatars style of storytelling beyond the animation.

Jamaal Ellison

Nah, how much betrayal can a man's heart take.

Panda

It's okay lupa, your errors are so rare we enjoy them as bloopers lmao.

Mike A

Pike thought they were real friends but it turns out they were just work colleagues lol

Bria A.

I can't wait for Lupa's continued confusion if Bells Hells ever gets their own show lmao

Krype

bruh pikeeeee

Krype

NOT WE

ShaquanVirse

Me "BITCH YOU KILLED GROG, NOT US!!!" Lol she bugging

Raymond Terry

They got the convention voice and sniffles.

Krype

I liked the guitar guy 😔

Izak

i'm on ur side!

Bria A.

I can forgive all of Pike's atrocities purely on the basis that this is five times the amount of character work Ashley was able to give her in the campaign because of scheduling conflicts lmao

Kyle Garrett

Paladin/Rogue Vax is hhheeerreeeee!!!!

William Tippen

I’m killing pike no more words or reasoning. We not friends? Bet!

BindingofNack

Nah anyone so easily manipulated by a clearly evil entity gets little to no sympathy. The Everlight has drawn her ire but she believes in this fraud?

Dallas

But has the Everlight brought Grog back from spaghetti? Hmmmmm

StarMarmot

It looks like they can see the weak points when they hold onto vax's daggers. We seem to only see the weak point from our perspective right before they get stabbed by the glowing daggers.

A

I wish there was a smidge more build up to the betryal but I agree. Like they had to share more of the plot because they had to get the gang back together but this was Pike's season, and she suffered A LOT. I get it

Chanceg983

LMAOO Pike waits until she in hell to try and speak with her goddess after quitting her faith and surprised by no response 😭

PJ Rivera

It was a trap meant to lure the whispered ones champions in lol they said it in the show and when they grab the daggers the lights show them where to hit

Sam

The Heavy Metal tribute in this episode had me cheering!

Certifiedan3

Pike: You guys didn't even check on Grog and I for a whole damn year. Me: Didn't Scanlan say the same shit and you all tried to act all upset with him?!

Abiola Adunni

Just had to comment that I love LOVE Sheera's hair. She looks fantastic

Kreed

Pretty sure Pike didn't judge him on that, she was just mad/sad that he left *her

Jason Marbach

I need ashley johnson getting Emmy noms for this show. I’m mad she didn’t

TT

We you speak French

grimreapercz

Agree too! Love how much build-up they did since season 1 for Pike's conflict here too.

Josue Dominguez

I don’t think I agree with this. I dunno I can understand the sentiment, but the thought process is easily skewed. You consistently don’t try to seek back to faith and don’t think to ask the gods for answers for possibly a year but when it becomes convenient to ask because of a major conundrum you seek for aid now? Not only that the idea of giving someone the ability to revive or give the promise for it doesn’t sound smart. Life isn’t meant to be eternal for us, death is necessary. And if you get upset by the gods picking and choosing who they revive then your thinking from a really selfish perspective.

Offw0rlder

We all in fact do not forgive Pike. We ain’t even seen how much damage this foolishness is about to cause yet She’s making a huge dumb choice off temporary emotions & doing the same thing she’s accusing the team of, friends she’s ran with for years This better be mind control cause this ain’t it 🙅🏽‍♂️

Jnutt913

Ngl it's whatever until she ups her weapons on me. Vax was really trying to reason with her but after that she gotta go

Micah Steinhoff

Man I'm surprised how much I liked Pike's betrayal this EP. As someone who's not watched Vox Machina livestreams and through experiencing it through the show exclusively, its cool how much they set up her faith and how much she had to question it. Literally every time she tried to call on her god for help it fell on deaf ears. On top of the fact that she spent hours literally just having to sit and stew with the Whispered One manipulating her further, I don't see this being out of left field like so many other viewers seem to see it as.
