Yeah. Going back to Weapon X wasn't the only solution to getting his claws back. I am sure Shield could have hooked him up, but knowing Nick Fury it would come with a favor. Still would have been better than getting two people killed. One of which he killed with his own hands.

I mean, yeah, they did heavily imply first season that Morph has unrequited f for Wolverine 😅 And I agree, that was definitely fcked up for Wolverine to pull that. Honestly it feels out of character for someone like him to willingly trick others into risking their lives to get want he wants, especially bringing in Morph. I would imagine him stubbornly making the journey alone and having Morph secretly follow him would have made more sense.
