Koifull

GorpPenguinz

Eating better today than I ever did at grandma's house

Daniel Ndurue

Been waiting for this drop let's goo

MsCarterWhatYouWatching

Lean on Me starring Morgan Freedman playing Joe Clark. A great movie. "They used to call me Crazy Joe. Now they call me Batman!"

Dorian Page

Great show. Also wonderfools is a good choice for a comedy series.

Rozay31

It did thankfully🙏😭

britt

needed this like crack

Koifull

yeah that was an amazing ep 1

LaTesha

Roshi gettng lean on me vibes in this show lol. Yea I can see that

Jamaal Ellison

Looks like these kids need to meet the Korean punisher. AKA Peuraengkeu Kaeseul

LaTesha

Is it me or the subtitles seem super small

Jalan

Same universe as Study Group btw. And yes they crossover in the comics

Kinai Shobu

Wasn't a fan of this series and dropped after the 2nd episode. Just glad y'all are enjoying it 🫡

Angela Barrios

This a good show. I hope you guys like it. As suggestion if you guys are watching this on Netflix I would suggest changing the subtitles to English instead of English CC because English CC translation most of it is incorrect and I don't want it confusing you guys.

Black_Star

If you guys don't watch wonderfools after you finish this you should definitely check out juvenile justice. A lot of the cast from teach you a lesson are also in that show as well

Tae

The webtoon is peak, the show is peak, reactors are peak. This might be one of the best days ever chat.

Pritz Belle

bummer that their subtitles are wrong because the correct subtitles were fire

Gary

That reminds me someone got stabbed at my highschool too

Sam

love kdramas but i hate this particular drama, had to drop it after the 1st ep. something abt it feels very fascist authoritarian, like a makjang for incels but watching it as a reaction might make it more bearable

Shaquille_Oatmeal

Aay Korean John Cena is here! Hope you're ready for some rage baiting lol

OnceUponABowl

I binged this when it came out loved it 🥰

J Man

Oh shoot! Roshi with the "lean on me"/"Stand and Deliver" pull in the intro speech? That is a throwback. I remember watching that ish in High School

J Man

Oh yeah, and after this... Can we do another poll, and can this next poll have Lovely Runner?

J Man

Dang, this drama starting heavy

J Man

Best advice my dad gave me growing up (which carries over to self security while growing up), was how to whoop bully ass and get away with it.

J Man

Dude pulled up with the five knuckle shuffle, the five finger pimp slap shuffle

Blackest Knight

All episodes were based on something real in Korea. Literal suic***s, actual criminal gang organizations, actual politicians abusing power, etc. Episode 1 featured a scandal involving several Higher-ups using their power to keep their kids from being transferred after multiple bullying incidents. There was one specific man who ended taking the fall for his son. That shed light on the situation and they put laws in place to prevent that kind of thing there after.

Mo3 V

Fyi these episodes are from REAL LIFE SITUATIONS. 🥺

Perceptive Thoughts

Glad y'all are watching this. It was a fantastic series and love seeing kids being put in their place because of their behavior. That will always be a plus.

Blackest Knight

Roshi enjoyed this SO much that he said "Nawww... No spoilers, no chat, no comments to interfere... I'm just gonna... Enjoy this one." 😆 -Me coping with the time we had to wait 😭

Yolo Samurai

Lean on Me is actually a really good comparison for this show, aside from the fact that they want to change the whole school system instead of just one school.

Shay2art

I wasn't going to give Netflix the view for this drama because of the Webtoon. The Webtoon artist had a really bad scandal where he made this chapter about a half black student terrorizing Koreans so they made this half white guy come in and bully him and call him the N word, which is wild when half black Korean kids are the ones that face racism and bullying between the two, yet they bring in a "white savior". It gave off really weird "Mixed kids are ruining our country" vibes all throughout the chapter. I know the drama wants to do right and leave out the problematic sexism and that chapter in it, but I'd rather give you guys the view than click it on Netflix

WTT_321

I'm sure you guys were surprised at the disgusting and despicable sh*t that's been floating around the news here and there.... Let's just say this feels like something that SK doesn't want to acknowledge. It's something that's been bleeding through to the point where even corrupt well known people like celebrities or politicians can cover sh*t up and go on their way as if nothing happened... It's even worse if the victim is any female in general because they're viewed as the "problematic" ones, when it's really the men that's the actual problem... I won't get into too much details, but back in 2019, there was a scandal that rocked the celebrity world enough that new details kept on popping up until one day it caught up to one of the cast members of a show, who'd been previously accused of the same thing of SA (something like that) on his ex-gf and finally got his ass arrested, but was only released 5 years later after his original time was 7 years, give or take. On the other hand, just doing drugs (even ones prescribed for health reasons) will get you treated like a criminal... it's like opposite day over there... Seeing this episode makes me wonder IF the society living over there will learn their lesson.... Only time will tell....

Ppinoy

Any idea why can’t I use “AirPlay” with your videos? Is there a setting I need to change? Please help

Kyle

First saw this on Webtoon. Awesome to see it adapted to live action, along with Viral Hit and a few others.

Pochita

Is this that racist Manhwa where teacher says the n word for no reason?

Random Guy

Ah man that was so satisfying.... \

shadowfiend

Girl from Nowhere Teacher edition letsgoo

PolarToni

bro that's a patreon thing. Tweet at them.

NovaVortex

What a 1st episode. F them kids! Let's go!!

john segun doe

Damn what's wild is I intended to watch Teach You a Lesson and Backrooms alongside y'all for my first watch. What a coincidence ITS ALL ON THE SAME DAY. lol LFG!!!!!!!!

Don't Care

This first episode felt like a mini movie tbh, I'm really digging it.

Jelly016

it was so funny watching this like two months after I just finished watching a bl where the actor for the main bully was the lead😭 he has good range

Samuela Shannon

Bro finna come out as the most stand up citizen ever lolll

Jamaal Ellison

Crazy instead of teaching his son to be a better person he'd rather threaten other politicians. 🙄

Spricey

Wait I want to hear more about the principal, I'd expect to see an article of them if they put kids in headlocks and cleaned up the school like that in the US

Sam

ever heard abt is dill?

ArtViper

Yeah the 2nd ep is the weakest of the lot and I almost dropped it at that point, but it does get a lot better after that ep

Dyastro123

The webtoon was definitely NOT peak......

Offw0rlder

This show is way too satisfying!!! YES! Hit him again!!! Put him IN the trash with the food next time!!! 😤😤 Punk ass kids man

Bobby Robinson

I absolutely love this As someone who went through bullying and had thoughts of suicide This really hits home

Coogie

For some context, this show is also supposed to take a hit at how minors in Korea exploit the juvy legal system.

J Man

This teacher is what Great Teacher Onizuka should have been

J Man

Why these KDrama bullies always end up being the ultimate crash out only after one day of gettin' bullied?

Princess Sakura

That show is fun and talks about interesting topics in the world of education but it does it in such a extreme and stupid way in some cases that don't make too much sense when u get into it lol. I still enjoyed it but it was annoying at times. Glad you're checking it out ! Long live kdramas !

Physes

IM SO GLAD THEYRE DOING THIS

Sham Sham

Haven't gotten to ep 2 yet and don't see anyone telling you guys but the subs are wrong. i can tell u guys have them on the CC English versions, which IS NOT THE RIGHT VERSION. The regular English subtitles are the ones to use. u guys usually have them on the right ones. Hope by ep 3 and on this gets fixed otherwise u guys will be missing alot of information that carries in the series.

tobsultraman80085

webtoon was peak but some arcs were a miss (and we do NOT talk about the cancelled arc)

Jo Jo

oh fuck you know that teacher's power level insane because of his cursed technique of the kdrama backhand sending that bully flying

Ketsu

mannn this should be a trio :(

girlygirl9983

7:18 they made me cry too many times in this 1 episode FEEL SO BAD for him and the one who ended things . I can't imagine going through physical and verbal bullying EVERYDAY of high school

JsemicolonA

It really did suck that the Manhwa just kinda went off like that, I was really enjoying it too up until the racist chapter came out then I just dropped it

Jingz

Ah yes a show that finally make every teacher’s wet dream come true

Didier

But he was. Have you not read the manga? He humbled a lot of bullies.

Squishy Bear

this def gives lean on me vibes. If society could have handled this straight forward method I def feel mr. clark (morgan freeman) would have done this, but with a closed fist.

rickie woodson

this is an incredible first episode. had me clapping and cheering and talking to the tv lol cant remember the last time i enjoyed a show this much to the point of this kind of engagement. definitely going to be a weekend binge for me. going to the asian market tomorrow and stock up on some show eateries!!!!!

K

Goated show

Carmen Feaster

The Lean on Me reference wasn't too off... What a movie that was!
