The mom came from okinawa and happened to accidentally complete the ritual to get into the barrier. shes from the outside and wandered in. i think they said it in like episode 6 or something not to sure.

They’ve said before that their mom ended up in the village by accident and thought it was another world. Then she found out Dera’s dad knew something and she threatened him into explaining everything. Which then led to her and her husband trying to escape

The dad is from Higashi Village, so he was just as out of the loop about the current times as Yuru and Asa were before they left. EDIT: I'm assuming the Fake Asa hasn't taken another form because she was originally ordered to take that form, and her master hasn't dismissed that order yet. We know that daemons usually strictly obey their masters, unless told otherwise (like in the case of Yuru giving Left and Right mostly free reign to make their own judgments). She could also be keeping that form since it's the one Yuru knows, and she wants to keep it until they make amends.

Cour 1 was slower and it was more of build up for cour 2 but as you can see all of these pays off later on just like in FMAB. FMAB had slower eps which made the later eps THAT much better.

Nah Roshi, they def said the mom was from the modern world, where as the dad is from the village. She got trapped within the village barrier by accident and wound up marrying the local dad. Unc needs better memory
