Don’t know if you talked about it during the reaction, but Uryu both saved orihime’s life and fucked up her sacrifice/plan when he beat jurgam because his almighty powers went back to Yuhabach so he saw smth in the past/future so that he can undo this. No matter if you’re an anime only or manga reader, nothing could’ve prepared any of us for this one and the best part is, this won’t even be the peak of the part or of the arc, (lookout for EP 47 that could potentially be the best in the whole series.) This might be possibly anime of the year already. Orihime out here with the defensive amps protecting her man as best as she could like nobody’s business. For Uryu, it's a bit confusing. In the soul society, Uryu uses that glove to release all of his power and fight Mayuri, but the cost is losing your power. Uryuu found a 3 second window where Hashbrown couldn't see, and slipped the glove on him. When he activated it, Hashbrown lost Ywachs powers that he was borrowing as shown by his eyes going back to being singular. Great episode, I cannot wait until Brave Souls give us this new Ichigo tonight. ✌️✌️✌️

In those several seconds where Ishida used Leiden Hant on Hashbrown, it has shown Hashbrown reverted to having only 1 pupil in each eye, thus losing the Almighty. While Orihime was rejecting Juha, Juha's eyes started having multiple pupils (as opposed to having only 1 in each eye while fighting Ichigo and the rest). That means he recovered the Almighty while he was being rejected by Inoue. So most likely in the next episode we will find out he rewrote the outcome of him being rejected by Orihime. Surely the outcome of that will have Orihime back, right? RIGHT?

The crescent moon is basically Ichigo’s calling card since the Getsu in Zangetsu and Getsuga means moon. Also Ichigo’s previous Bankai was named Tensa Zangetsu which means Heavenly Chains Zangetsu. Hence why in this form he can manipulate chains. Unsure if his current Bankai is also named Tensa Zangetsu though

Idk if you guys know this but Kubo has actually been putting a ton of stuff that was never in the manga into the anime like Senjumaru bankai, Uryu holy form, Uryu vs ichigo, Ukitake backstory, extending squad 0 fight, add new flashbacks, and so on and since now we are towards the end of bleach expect a ton of new anime original stuff in the next 5-6 episodes

ok now that the episode is over and its a complete anime only episode it was amazing from start to finish. if someone can help me out here i have a question. are we operating under the assumption that yhwach is still "asleep" during this whole fight because jugram is still using it while he is fighting uryu. that could explain why he didnt do what he did in the manga. otherwise i would think that kubo nerfed his true bankai to allow for the visuals since nobody enjoyed the fact that we never got to see it in the manga. either way dope episode and idk if the chains are representing his likeness to the soul king or a nod to his hell transformation but loved it either way.

I prefer this bankai form because it brings full circle Vasto Lorde ichigo. Ichigo his whole time as a soul reaper has been him wrestling with this side of him (hollow) that he couldn't control or didn't acknowledge. He begins his journey of acceptance when he gets his dual swords and even 1 horn puts him closer but this bankai. is like him accepting fully that side of him since that form embodies a controlled look of his vasto lorde form.

So that 1 horn form of ichigo is what we got in the manga so I forsure thought alright butt cheeks manga ending is coming which it could still lead to it if ykyk. Im also glad they added Rukia to the fight because she is just as important to this because like Yhwach said, she started this entire chain reaction ( technically aizen did but you know what I mean ) by giving her Shinigami powers to Ichigo in ep 1 and now we are here and she deserves to be in this fight and Im glad we see her bankai a second time because she wasnt in this at all in the manga so Im happy for her contribution now. (NOT SPOILER) I hope roshi and everyone sees this its some info and things people missed that makes this ep so much better. Its a long one but its worth trustttt me. 1st yhwach didn't have the almighty (future sight) here because jugram had it at the time and uryu used a glove right had the end when Orihime nuked yhwach that stripped jugram of his power and gave it back to its owner. 2nd Something with Orihimes character is that she is lowkey a pacifist she hate fighting people getting hurt thats why she would always heal even the people that did her wrong and she thinks that when someone is strong she thinks strength is being able to move people them with words alone and rukia is able to do that for ichigo she is able to snap him back to reality and orihime is jealous of it and thinks rukia is stong becuase of that feature and is why she (Orihime) curses her weakness even though she has a broken ability to reject anything she pleases. 3rd Orihime because of this (weakness) she feels that she is of no help to ichigo especially in battle and in this ep yhwach constantly pushes that idea in her head he tells Orihime "you are here only becuase of his weakness for you" and then tells ichigo "Paradoxically what hinders your battle is the very reason you grip your blade" and so at the end when orihime reject yhwach's existence she also gets rid of herself because she believes ichigo is better of without her. I feel so bad for Chad, because his power set had a lot of potential for growth and evolution based off It's origin being hollow in origin (even if his and Orihime's powers never really fit the Fullbring Theme to me.) but the story constantly had to make him the series punching bag along with Renji. Hopefully he gets a little bit of crumbs in the final episodes

Also to JJK with the black flash reference (delayed strikes). Then Inoue with the HxH nod, where Gon says goodbye to Killua before using all his life force against Pitou. Man this episode was peak.
