Seems like they’re really making this show target audience for elementary kids because it’s way too obvious that Uki is a spy or traitor that’s been helping out the raiders.

Nobody lol

I mean yeah it kids show and for the new generation but ofc they know fans like us are watching regardless

Jonathan Hart

Funny how you say that and Uki gets kidnapped later in the story. You obviously not smarter than an elementary student🤣

3rr4tt1c

Uki being kidnapped might have just been a misdirect. But wouldn't make sense considering the other kidnappings. Unless they're all deserters.

Teejay

Pavi and Nisha are adorable ❤️😂

Romari Richards

Lupa I think he sang the right part of the song

DASHON HUNCHO

Jae gdfoh Lmfaooo 😭😭😭😭😭

Bria A.

I really don't understand the complaint here because the plot twists in previous A:tLA series were also pretty obvious for anyone who had a basic understanding of narrative tropes lol. Being "predictable" is not always a bad thing; it (usually) means the narrative is consistent and logical. The opposite of this is why modern showrunners love to put in nonsense for shock value to outsmart the audience, and ends up the worse for it.

Devin B

This might be obvious but Pavi and Nisha are too precious, they balance each other out too well

2026-10-20 03:00 It's shows made for adults that make stuff that obvious lol. It's only so many a trope can be done

I’m really liking Seven Havens - so far it’s got a nice charm to it, the mysteries about the past and different theories for how all the puzzle pieces fit together is a nice touch

Damie♥

Why'd she say "dirty grain-snatchers" like it's a fucking slur 😭

Lily Rose

so daemin is wearing a bisexual headband and jae has a bf? smh, atleast we still have daddy karthik 😋🥰

Sammy

The Avatar series has always been for kids, idk why ya'll acting shocked. Korra was more mature for the ATLA fans who grew but Seven Havens is for the newer fans, younger generation.

Sammy

Fr, rewatching ATLA and its pretty obvious at times lol.

IanW645

To be fair if it ends with a Hard-R you can make almost any word sound like a slur if you say it with enough disgust. Case in point: The Equalists. "Those filthy Benders!"

Zuri Young

You know what bisexual means.. right?

Zuri Young

Yeah, y’all can’t ever have superpowers lmao. Sheera said she would want telepathy, and Roshi and Lupa out here killing anyone who finds out anything lmao

William Ainsworth

15:05 at the beginning of the episode they said Uki had terrible handwriting, that’s why they were saying “portable sports” come on y’all…

ThatOneGuy

Yh it’s almost like it’s always been a kids show.

GonkDroidCritic

But most of the writing and dialogue feels way too awkward and constantly talk down the audience as toddler watching it from Nick Jr. It feels like a Dora Explorer moment asking audience what’s gonna happen next?

Unknown

The humor from the one wearing blue makes me want to jump off

.jazbati

worth saying!!! i love them they got me instantly

LYINGJACKRABBIT

Yo Lupa portraying the one thief pinned to the wall had me rolling lol.

Vinne

They're like if korra and aang actually got to hang out lmao

Devin B

@Vinne facts, I can see Korra being driven to prove herself while Aang is just goofing off

GigaDirt

When you don't know you're letters

rayman

ATLA was a kids show but this feels even more geared towards kids, with the humor and simple animation and colors. so weird considering we were getting more mature from Korra to Avatar Aang movie and the fans (me) have long grown into adults

L S

everybody here is "quirky" and they have to remind you constantly... eversince tlok the only comedic relief character they wrote is bolin. even sokka in the aang movie was more bolin than sokka. now we have like 4 of them in one show

L S

i can't lie the dialogue writing in this show is atrocious half of the time. its this contemporary thing of verbally regurgitating everything because there isnt any trust in the viewers ability to understand visual storytelling just like in netflix live action avatar. at least the choreography is dope but man the dialogue is yucky as hell and even worse some people consider that normal... as if there aren't two proir shows that do not do it like this also this show doesnt seem to know what it wants. in one moment the brigade is super competent, then the fail to stop a single raid. this show is set in a post apocalyptic world where everything is a shortage yet people are handing out food left and right, let alone showing where they even grow their food? or like they pointed out the food lady that we havent seen sell a single thing who we are told that she is struggling lmao... whole plate of cookies and spring rolls? also super personal nitpick and not that serious but i absolutely hate it when people say shit like "chai" nigga just say tea... you dont speak hindi / urdu / persian so why use these words its just their word for tea but its still only tea...

ZOOM

yeah this is kinda dogshit

L S

this fandom especially its defensive part has become allergical to critical thought but thats not new. the dialogue in this show is atrocious half of the time lets keep it real. this entire "kids show" excuse is dumb, neither atla nor tlok had this little trust in the viewers ability to understand visual storytelling without needing to verbally underline things constantly. it has way more to do with modern writers writing shows for people who are on their phone while this is running in the background because the company above thinks its competing with tiktok and insta reels

L S

uki is definitely in on it. why would she know where they attack and not warn the brigade? why would she complain about having to put up with the raids and then do vigilante things on her own? the comment from the faceless saying her talent is wasted here and her reaction? and i love all the bots here thinking that her being kidnapped means she is innocent... that could just have been staged to make her look innocent/ as a misdirect, literally ALL the evidence is pointing towards her doing something sketchy.... we already have seen a scene in the trailer of one of the faceless saying that things aren't as black and white as they have been taught.... its pretty obvious where this is going.

DevilMayCarter

Lullaby randomly reminds me of the lullaby Gosalyn had for a clue in Darkwing Duck

Kris Barnes

I was so sure Uki betrayed them to get more food I died laughing when they revealed she was tied up in the truck. I pray it's part of the plan because otherwise that's just too funny

Kyuubi16

6:40 Bro that don't work with characters we don't know or care about. XD

Kyuubi16

Bro I'm mad. I had the same thought and when I go to comments of course this be the top comment.

Damie♥

Karthik politely averted his gaze when the councilor blushed but didn't blush himself which made me read him as gay tbh lmao

Frankie

The animation in this episode was so good

VVenture

‘Bender’ in the UK has been a homophobic slur for like 50+ years so watching Avatar for the first time was pretty damn funny for Brits lmao.

Rajab

thank you rayman dk why people arent getting this

meeran haq

That's odd...I didn't get any notifications for Seven Havens.

pilbil

"has become allergical to critical thought" the fact that you said "allergical" tells me that you are the EXACT person that needs to babied through exposition. Anyone that believes "allergical" is a word should not be trusted to understand ANYTHING. You're literally making up words to hate. But you ought to go rewatch the first half of season 1 of ATLA and the first few episodes of Korra. They are both very heavy with over-explaining and exposition. That's how shows work, they over explain in the beginning so they don't have to later

pilbil

please go rewatch season one of ATLA, its just as baby-ish. it uses even simpler colors. They always start off pretty child-like and mature with time. youre comparing this to season 3 aang. compare it to season 1.

pilbil

also, no! Fans have not grown up. More people are watching these universe now than when it first released. There are far more children watching this show than you realize. It's not possible for the show to see this exponential growth and for all its viewers to have been born to see ATLA's orginal releases

pilbil

People havent seen the original series in quite some time, so they arent critiquing it with honesty. i mean one of the biggest "plot twists" of ATLA is that Hama was the one controlling ppl and locking them up during the full moon. Most adults caught onto that pretty immediately, yet that episodes remains of the highest rated.

Jon Fejes

Starting at around 11:00, that baby looks so mad and it took me out lol

Lurkingposter

Alotta straight women are grossed out by BI men. They're loss.

PhaedrusRumple

This new avatar isn’t made for the people who watched ATLA and Korra

KS Neelesh

For anyone who cares about a randmon fact : kachoris are an Indian snack. They're not cookies. They are a fried stuffed pastry snack from India. It makes sense because the earthbenders appear to be indian. Pavi, Nisha, Karthik are all indian names and as an Indian myself I can clearly see the indian influence in the character designs
