I feel like of all the elements to have "seen" someone bend, I feel like air is like the last thing in terms of actual visibility. What we see in the show kind just a visual guide. After the avatar has been gone for like forever at this point. I feel like the last bending I would accuse someone of doing is Air Bending, and then to go around spreading Rumors based on actual nothing

I swear this is why I hate how real the viewer are morons trope is. Because most of the time the voice changing, glowing eyes, and stuff like that is for the viewers to see and understand, not something apparent or that the characters in show can see which is why the imposter syndrome makes sense but a lot of people miss that so it makes the characters look dumber. But question, does anyone remember from the early batch of the episodes if any of the characters comment on the glowing eyes themselves or is it the usual trope?

Yeah definitely possible and the most likely scenario but also possible that they weren't because you know the girls turned it on it could have just been a random frequency or broadcast trying to reach Ellora because that's how radios work, you can absolutely hear transmission that just broad announcements, just saying but the fact remains that the chancellor is the one that doesn't want them called Karthik could already know why she doesn't want them calling for help because he's interacting with them already, and she just doesn't know that Karthik knows lol but it was just a theory based on an observation didn't have to be right
