I haven't read all the comics so I can't give an 100% answer. But so far I know there isn't another air temple in ATLA. The 5th temple is air temple island but that's during Korra her time so that doesn't excist right know. And if I go to the ATLA fandom page about air temples there isn't another to find there.

I can understand why. When Aang was in the Northern airtemple he knew exactly how it was ''suposed to be''. I know that's the case because airbender did a lot of travel. But I can understand if they thought that he lived there.

So now you know the way appa flies. He's Airbending. That's the mechanic and funnily enough it makes sense. And aang is from the Southern Air temple. That's the one from the 3rd episode we saw. The Northern Air temple was the one with the dad and son with no legs living there where the hot air balloon happened and the fire nation found it. The Eastern one is the one we just saw. And there's a western one as well. That guy with appa was Guru Pathik. Weird name but that's how he's so nasty. Guru's are super spiritual and literally live on that stuff. Can't wait for the last three. Its my favorite ending of a season ever!

Domi

You know a show has good writers when even the animals get backstory + development

Viela Guay

Something I just thought about is how extra comforting Guru must have been since Appa legit grew up around monks all day so just having someone there sitting and meditating must've been another familiar sight to him

Ever Borjas

At 23:09 I just noticed the 3 cats that showed Momo where he's at

Ty Lee (best girl) is Azula's hitter. She sends her in when she needs something done. Also, this book is about earth bending and all its capabilities: Sand, Mud, Hypnosis, and even capture are just the few advance techniques of this bending type.

Chan Lee

Aang found Appa when he was lost in the Swamp. Guru Pati helped Appa to find Aang the same way, saying 'everything is connected'. Interesting episode.

Idk y but I am loving Azula even more now that I'm rewatching the series 😂

Aang’s from the Southern temple. The Northern temple was the one with the pipes and the gliders.

You're not alone! Rewatching ATLA as I grew up, I realized how fantastic of a villain she was. She also has so many great lines too lol

Robin Lif

This episode never fails to give me the feels

Hoodlum JoeBro

I used to ignore this episode when I was younger but as I grew older and rewatched, seeing Appa go through some rough shit really hurts, especially when you own a pet 😭

Mo

This episode always gets to me.

Exactly, she crazy, but her attitude and work ethic to get the avatar at no cost is some boss woman type shit 😆

J Sampson

This episode messed me up damn

Abraham

Btw Aang is from the Southern Air Temple

Ryan

It's ironic that Aang was to be sent away to the Eastern Air Temple 100 years ago to complete his training, and 100 years later he still has to go there to complete his Avatar State training

RM

Aang actually hails from the southern temple

right idk why they thought Northern lol. Katara and Sokka from the South so ofc Aang would be from Southern Temple.

Rachel Kim

This episode got an award for its realistic portrayal of animal cruelty and spreading awareness of the issue.

Emily Trujillo

The little fire nation boy is actually voiced by the same person who voices Aang, that’s why their voices and designs were very similar.

Destinee Yang

Aang is actually from the Southern Air Temple. That’s why he ended up in the ice berg close to the southern water tribe which is where Sokka and Katara are from. They visited the Northern Air Temple when they were traveling to the northern water tribe to master water bending. The Northern Air Temple was infiltrated by the kid in the wheelchair and his mechanic inventor dad who worked for the fire nation.

Awkwardz

There’s four air temples. The north and south are the ones where the male monks live. The east and west are where the female monks live. They always visited each other and I guess the eastern air temple is where Appa was born. So Appa went home in this episode.

Ain't there also a "central" Temple as well, exclusively used to mingle to produce the next generation methodically?

Emma

This episode just goes to show that Appa is the one and true Badass and if it were up to him, the final fight wouldn't have three seasons to happen. He would have crushed all them. He's a take no prisoners kind of Bison.

danny

this man just said the ink stinks im dead lmao
