Korra had multiple hype moments. Maybe if you weren’t hating and laughing the entire show you would’ve noticed it. I’m glad sheera saw all Korra did and didn’t jump on the hate train. Shows how guys like you two are so misogynistic and ignore all the feats women do. Acting like Korra didn’t summon a whole spirit of herself and popped off, got control of herself while being blood bended without the avatar state, did a whole super fight against Zaheer. Ok ill make it simple for you who was the better Avatar Korra or Aang? Its not misogynistic if its factual she was not as well written as Aang was simple as that and if you think otherwise good for you but you are lying to yourself at the end of the day plus its 2023 let it go Korra was a good show but the original Avatar was better overall.

Korra hype moments up until this point: - Pro bending win against the wolf bat kid - Fight sequence against the equalists on the pro bending roof - Fight against Tarrlok - Breaking free from Amon's bloodbending grasp without the use of the AS (not even Aang could do this against Yakone) - Airbending for the first time - Aang giving her bending back where we see her in the AS for the first time - Entire fight against UnaVaatu - 2v1 against Zaheer with her dad while she's cuffed up - Fire breathing in the AS like a beast with fire jets seen flying - Entire fight against Zaheer being on the same level as Aang vs Ozai - Korra getting Raava back

Exactly, they were hella “hyped” during those scenes but when it’s over they automatically forget it even happened. Understandable since they watch a lot of shows regularly but to bash on Korea for this long is hypocritical

Well guys don't forget the whole point of her development from book 1, she was really stoked to be the avatar, but she needed to be humbled and learn how to be human. It would have been great to see more epic moments from Korra, but she needed to do the opposite and tone it down. While aang was a young human who had to accept his role as the Avatar. Theyre opposites of the same coin.

I understand feeling like the side characters all have great individual moments over Korra since it does feel like everyone else's moments may feel more hype in the moment. I also feel like in nearly every medium of entertainment, where the main character is the chosen one, they ultimately get things done on their own, for the most part, and save the day. So I'm probably in the minor when I say (outside of being naive at times) I enjoy seeing Korra fail and not being the one to always powerhouse through or always having a working solution, but instead is one who ends up having lasting consequences to her actions, whether those be good or bad.

I feel like this show downplays Korra on purpose, to subvert the idea of The Chosen One and remind people that you can never rely on those with supreme power to change things for the better. The supporting cast represents the common individuals who can achieve glory and greatness in their own personal stories without needing to be The Chosen One.

So many people wanted a Kuvira v Toph battle but as Roshi said, I don't even think Kuvira would have taken that fight. That's an immediate L for her xD She knows to put some respek on Toph's name. I think the Su v Kuvira fight was much better and although she "lost" it was still one of the best fights of season 4.

Lowkey the only times zaheer pussy ass fought Korra was when she was handicapped. She gave herself up for the airbenders and he lied. And he even had a hard time against her when she was in chains before the poison even got in her

Yes! Zaheer could not handle her which is why he was just evading and waiting for the poison to work. Somebody said “Korras Avatar State is weak” but where? Because from what I see, she was handling tf outta all of them. NOBODY CAN HANDLE HER AVATAR STATE. But yk, people still gone say she weak even though her bending feats say otherwise.

isn't the whole su-puts-her-armour-thing-on kinda cool looking but ultimately super stupid? Did I miss smth about the metal on the weapon not being able to be bended? Wouldn't it be stupid to give Kuvira the possibility to just crush Su with her armour on, just like the medal some episodes earlier? Or is it smth I missed these whole years of rewatching LoK? :D Edit: Okay, I'm reaaally stupid, Su just bended the amour around her body like with normal metal... so why didnt Kuvira just crush her? I'm sure the could be a lore-wise explanation but it really seems stupid :D

I dnt agree wit wat Lupo said about side characters having better moments. If we look back in ATLA so many ppl had there moments of shine for eg, bumi taking his city back all on his own nd Zuko final agni kai wit Azula was better than Ozai vs Aang( dats just my opinion) Katara toph Sokka had there own moments of shine as well. Great Villain make for a great story nd if a villain is shit when beaten it wouldn’t feel satisfying enough. Try Imagining ATLA without Azula, see my point!

As flawed as TLOK was, you cannot argue with the fight sequences in this show, especially Suyin vs Kuvira which was so raw.

To be fair, as you all mentioned, Aang and gang didn’t face the villains or situations that Korra had to face (on screen at least). With that said, I agree, the villains in this show have carried as well moments with the supporting cast. Also, korra had moments against zaheer with her hands and feet bound.

Its cuz either Korra is either fighting 2v1 (Unalaq and Vaatu) or shes getting nerfed (like being blood bent and only knowing air or being poisoned or PTSD) The odds are always stacked against her in the most brutal way
