Crazy thing is, Abbacchio didn't even finish the replay of the picture moment 15 years prior. Man literally willed himself to stay alive long enough to have Moody Blues transform into the boss from a few seconds ago when he got donuted and slam its face into the stone, AND check to make sure the image was right (which is why he turns his head right before finally dying). A total badass. Also, this is why the death mask they get is the boss, not Doppio (who would have been the face taking the picture 15 years before).

The fact that abbachio left a message that only giorno could decipher shows how much he trusted giorno 😭

Manjot Gill

Take in buccellati hasn't bled at all since he "died" cause his heart stopped beating, but abbachio's death moved him so much it made his heart beat, thats why his lips bled when he bit them.

yasmina C

yeah this was one of the saddest jojo eps of all parts, imo

Robinson

One thing i really like about jojos is that they’re not scared to kill people off.wow

"Fun" little detail about Abbacchio's corpse(that I find on yt comment): Giorno turned his body into a flower bed (this is an anime-only detail) and the flowers he turned it into were in fact dandelions, in Italian, dandelions are called "dente di leone", which is quite fitting seeing as how Abbacchio's first name is Leone. Not to mention, the flower meaning of dandelions is that they stand for being tough, but also for being fading.

RIP one of the coolest stands.

I've thought about that, but it didn't necessarily require Girorno. Maybe they check the statute, or whatever it is, before dipping out? it wasn't that far from his corpse

Nevan

Can we get an F in the chat...

saddest episode ever

JoJo main villains and punching holes through people - a tale as old as time

It actually WAS in the manga, alot of people forget that it was since it was only in 1 small panel and it did not explain that it was dandelions other than looking like them; it was only in Jojoveller did Araki confirm the reasoning for it similar to how in the anime it also doesn't explain it. It was more ment to be a thing for people to put together themselves but Araki felt not enough people did so he explained it.

The skipping to the results thing the cop said also relates to King Crimsons ability and the bosses mindset as a whole

Narancia's breakdown never fails to make me tear up.

Abbacchio had been a hard-ass for a while, back in the day he was the kind of guy who would have helped those kids with their ball no question. Because he did that today, that good act from his past he was killed for letting his guard down. It's definetly not out of character, just some of his old self coming back for a second. The way he looked at those kids who thanked him warmed his soul for the final time.

Anyone else like becoming turtles?

Trevor

Idk how it was for everyone else but, Narancia is what made this such a hard death for me.

Araki woke up and chose to serve Goth Dad (receiving) Violence when he wrote this section. Man said “nah, no goth dad’s for y’all”
