The team that last touches the ball when it goes out always is the team that doesn't get the point. You can think about it like how Yamaguchi got a lot of points when ppl slightly touch his jump serves

Asahi hit the ball against the blockers hand. Meaning when it went out of bounds it was off the other team. It's called a wipe, or a "block out" in the show. Tanaka and Asahi do it all the time

In this episode of "CLAPPED IN THE COMENTS" All three reactors mistakenly thought that the ball went out at approximately 19:06 into the show. What had actually happened was the ball hit Ushijima's hand then going out since he was the last one to touch the ball before it went out its Karasuno's point. This is a tactic that volleyball players do in real life as well. To further enhance the CLAP you all have see this happen before in previous episodes.
