Kinks are like spices in your sexual recipe 🧑‍🍳 they can add flavor, surprise, and excitement. For some folks, kink is about sensation, power play, or exploring fantasies. For others, it’s a way to deepen trust and intimacy. The common thread? It’s all consensual and done with curiosity and care.

Here’s the deal: kink shaming shuts people down, feeds secrecy, and can make pleasure feel like something to hide. A sex-positive approach means recognizing that consensual sexual expression…whether it’s a feather tickle, a blindfold, or a little spanking, it can be healthy and meaningful!

So, how do you keep it shame-free?

👄 Lead with consent: Clear yes’s and boundaries come first.

👄 Stay curious: If your partner shares a kink, try listening instead of judging. You don’t have to love it, but respecting it matters.

👄 Drop the “normal” myth: There’s no universal definition of “normal” sex. What’s normal is what works for you and your partner.

Bottom line is kinks don’t need curing, they need communication 🫶

Do you find it difficult sharing certain kinks with your partner? Let’s unpack in the comments ❤️

I tend to find this easy as I am open to almost any kinks with a very few exceptions even if I'm not necessarily into them

I blew it years ago when J said she wanted a boa and butt plug. I'm a germaphobe so a boa is difficult to enjoy. Dunno why we didn't get a butt plug. J also said she likes her feet nibbled. Again germaphobe, but one day I wanted to try both of us laying supine, penis to vulva coital position. This excited me to no end, her feet were next to my ears and... In general, though, I'm pretty open. J is usually less so. I think she has been fairly promiscuous in the past looking for male validation and wants to leave that behind her.
