"Not, not a compliment." Zoro teaching Nami some tricks about stealing the show with his one-liners! Love it! Not to mention it's a girl whale, ugh, haha. Zoro, there's no hope! Crocus having Scrooge's voice, now I can't unhear it! It's ok, that's not the worst thing to get rewritten to in my mind, I guess! I like all the little touches of personality they put throughout the show, like the individualized transponder snails you mentioned from the comments, and of course things like the unique One Piece themed title card each episode, and the character cards/wanted signs. It's all so well done - but Luffy, let's not grasp straws here - your bounty still has a long way to go, if you ever hope to reach the levels of Vash the Stampede. Thirty million berries is quite a ways off from sixty billion double dollars! Having only seen through Alabasta (fairly recently) the one thing I did miss was how Crocus was living inside Laboon and you didn't even realize it at first because it was made to look like castaway island. But if you think about it at all it makes no sense, how did Crocus paint the entire inside of a 1,300 foot high whale to look like the sky - the math on that comes to ~1.3 million gallons of magic luminescent paint - for a single coat. That's over 100x what's needed for the Eifel tower, or the amount to paint 130,000 houses - Crocus' dream must have been to be a painter in another life! Or when you consider the weight of carrying that paint - all 14 million pounds of it, the only possible answer would be Crocus has a old friend who ate the Paint Paint Fruit! So I'm happy with them making some changes as needed, and of course Oda's stamp of approval is still on the project, so I feel it's in good hands! Do you have any new favorite characters from this season yet? I am curious to see how that changes towards the end! I think Tashigi was pretty high up for you? Smoker was cast so well and I'm looking forward to seeing him more, and I like how the characters all have some depth to them - even the somewhat cruel characters usually have a heart when you get to know them more!

Zoro’s one liners were SO GOOD in this episode! There’s no hope for him, but we love to see him struggling in such an entertaining way, haha!! All the little details in this series make it so much fun to watch! Hahaha, and for Luffy’s bounty - you know, I think he has a chance to reach Vash levels - let’s root for him! 😛 Hahaha, “anime logic” on the paint in Laboon - I think the live action may have at least recognized that and changed it for this series, which I appreciate it! And that Oda was like, “Yeah, let’s go with that!” Oooh, these are great questions for Episode 3 - which hopefully my brother and I can get to today when we watch it! I really like Tashigi and Smoker, though! Thank you for being patient as I get caught up on my comments and get back to you! And thank you for the comment!

Oh I cried buckets for this episode and for Laboone! Absolutely love him/her. Could be a girl whale…. That uvula joke was hilarious !

Laboone breaks my Heart!! Zoro has been the king of the one-liners this season! I LIVE for his commentary and remarks on things, yes!! This live action series is bringing the emotions, though, that's for sure. Thank you for the comment! Glad you're keeping up with this, too!
