Heheh, time for episode FOUrrrrrr Amazing episode, as always. Some things get lost in translation, or more like something that Westerners don’t really understand without prior knowledge of the topic. Is Chinese colour symbolism, which is important on the Fool’s honorific name. “King of yellow and black who wields good luck.” In Chinese symbolism, Yellow refers to earth, and Black refers to heaven. So that part of his honorific name is basically rewording the “Blessings stem from Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth ” -part from the “Luck enchantment ritual.” The way I like to imagine ritualistic magic is like emails for gods. You write down what you need to ask them (the prayer), then you make it all polite and nice as you possibly can (the candles and other objects), and then you send it, and you just hope that they answer. Also, a small detail that you didn’t at least touch upon in your discussion. At some point, you said that everyone on the episode prayed to the Evernight goddess, except our tarot club. But when Selene, with the girls, was praying to the mirror, she was not praying to the Evernight goddess. The prayer was very different. The prayers make it very clear as to whom they were praying, but you didn’t seem to notice it. I’ll leave it for you to go and find out if you're interested. About Klein’s thought process when coming up with his honorific name because the Donghua doesn’t go as in depth: he attempts to amend the Luck Enhancement Ritual that allows him to enter the gray fog aka: Blessings Stem From The Immortal Lord of Heaven and Earth.” “Blessings Stem From The Sky Lord of Heaven and Earth.” “Blessings Stem From The Exalted Thearch of Heaven and Earth.” “Blessings Stem From The Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth.” Klein’s concern is that since he isn’t a god, he wouldn’t be able to receive the prayers directly, so in his honorific name he attempts to tie it directly to himself and the Gray fog so that no one else who may be similar to him could receive it. The reason he has “The King of Black and Yellow” in his Honorific Name is to directly point to the Gray Fog chant of “Heaven and Earth” because in Chinese culture Black and Yellow is associated with Heaven and Earth Then ofc the other parts of the name point to himself, “The Fool that doesn’t belong to this era” and “The Mysterious ruler above the Gray Fog”

Romania : this will be a breather LOTM : you sweet summer child 😂😂 What an amazing episode, i loved that we focused on family ties and divination and the dangerous aspects the latter could have Klein saying :*I don’t want to put my family in harm’s way* … was so precious because it means he really is , as Zhou, melding with Klein’s personality and thinking of Melissa and Benson as his real siblings 🥺 Miss Justice and Alger Pray to the Fool because they kinda know him, he is the president of the association, so he can’t be that bad 😂 A little info : Klein did put a wall of spitituality, we see it when he started the ritual in Selene’s house Hahaha the personality change in the grey fog is amazing 😂🥰 The king of yellow and black but also the Fake it until you make boss 😂 He is faking that all powerful mysterious persona to the T .. after all he has a facade he has to maintain and use everything (voice included) to do so 😂😂 Miss justice name has been given to us in episode 1 around 22:56 and Alger’s around 23:00 in ep 1 🥰 Something that is not very clear in the Donghua is that During the Gatherings in the Grey Fog everyone of them when he looks at the others, they see a silhouette that is covered in fog so no one knows how the others look like, which is a security for them to maintain their anonymity… Alger is such a glazer of Mr Fool 😂😂 the way his eyes bulged and he clenched his arm when Klein gave a 3 parts honorific name 😂 About the ritualistic magic and prayer they did to the Fool : it worked for Klein because he has the cheat code of being linked to the Grey Fog that is a Mysterious realm we know nothing about 😁 Also Miss Justice coming in clutch and inadvertently saving his life was a great Suzie best girl, i want to give her all the scratches 🥹 Yeah, at this rate, conspiracy board sama is definitely getting covered by the end of the season 🥳😁 Thank you for an amazing reaction and discussion, as always , i m having a wonderful time watching you discover the episodes and listening to you dissecting them.. great great work ❤️

LOTM is giving us NO breathers, is it? I’m glad we got focus on Klein with his new family and how things could be dangerous for them. I always get a little weirded out with the “melding” with someone else’s personality in this transmigration because you would think it takes away from your own and feels like a nonconsensual body horror, but I’d like to think that it’s mainly him accepting Melissa and Benson as found family, at the least. Yeah, Audrey and Alger just praying to this dude they just met - I mean, I get it, but wow, that escalated quickly! XD I’m amazed by Klein’s fake it til you make it persona as well! And good to know that no one knows how the other looks! That makes sense! And Klein out here getting more in his harem with Alger, hahaha! Thank you for noting the wall of spirituality did come up! That’s good at least! And it makes sense why it works for him since he’s the only one in the mysterious fog that we know of. Suzie is BEST GIRL and I love her already! I fully anticipate that conspiracy-board-sama will be COVERED by the end of the OVA’s, but we shall see!
