Amazing episode as usual!! My heart goes out to Havre and the rest of Old Neil's friends. :( All the secret organisations lore goes crazyyyy. Like why are there so many! But the more there is, the more possibilities there are as well >:)))) Which, btw, one correction: Rose school of thought and Life school of thought are actually two different secret organisations, so it's not a translation difference. That whole "I'm capable of exploiting gods" spiel,,, did we forget to be careful?! When Klein looked at that god and went, "Let's be careful from now on," IT TRULY was one of the biggest lies ever told. But I love this guy's confidence. Excited for the next week :3

Just to clarify a bit, the voice at around 19:40 as Havre gazes after Megose is him going "Looks like there's nothing too strange", which wasn't subtitled for whatever reason. I really love all the theories you're making and agree that the series brings up a lot of interesting ideas, e.g., natural-born half-Beyonders. Can't wait to see how your ideas evolve as the story goes on! The shot where we see Havre's footsteps as he goes from man to monster with the blazing setting sun is so lovely and sad at the same time. Same goes for the sequence near the end with Neil playing Moonlight Sonata. Beautiful music, beautiful and sad imagery :(

Lotm doesn’t give a breather, he takes your breath away… each time 🥰 Initially the chibi was released with ep 7 which is stupid because it spoiled the exchange between Audrey and Alger in ep 8 and one don’t get the refs so we rearranged it so you can watch it after this one 😁 as it has no effect on the main plot. Alger asked about 1000 pounds because he knew Audrey was loaded, she gave clues since the beginning that she was nobility be it her way if talking or way of reacting to things .. and it seems it’s not the first time that they trade together as she asked him if she should send the money to the same adress . Gotta feed your crew 😛 Leonard flirting while trying to know Klein’s motive towards him is everything… he is such a whore 😂😂 and our oblivious bean has it over his head now Funny that when they wanted to disperse the masses , *they acted* like what exorcists are perceived 😉 That scene was hilarious.. when i saw Klein and Neil doing their ridiculous dance i was like : *The Fool ladies and gentlemen*, if only Audrey and Alger could see him 😂😂 Kuddos to neil’s va and show director because they made neil’s voice sound heartbroken and sad in the class short in continuation of the episode’s events The last sequence with the piano is one od the saddest and most symbolic i ve seen a man playing moonlight sonata (which is a piece Beethoven composed about heartbreak and sorrow and loss ,extremely fitting choice) mourning his last friend after he lost everyone that he loved. An abandoned man mourning in an abandoned home Such a masterful scene.. the symbolism, the color palette, the music.. 10/10 and heartbreak city In the last klein monologue when he said : if the cause can’t be traced, it meant he already did divination to try and discover what caused Havre to loose control but he didn’t get a result. RIP Havre, such a jovial a good friend.. you will be missed 😔 This episode was funny but also so very sad… The discussion was chef’s kiss as always and the reaction was amazing (you calling havre Pyxis litteraly made laugh out loud to tears 😂) Can’t wait for more

Also in the Grey Fog as i mentioned before they don’t see each other face because the they are each enveloped in fog but and have blurry vision of each other they still can deduce things from speech, mannerisms or vague movements they can perceive of each other

Glad you pointed out that the Forsaken Land is basically this alternate world's Europe. I love Isekai/Transmigration stories where the world map is Pangea based, (very similar to the Real Earth) because it allows for some recontextualization of those parallel world's histories using our own. (Potential Trade routes, Close neighboring "allied" or "opposing" countries using similar strategies to real world militaries based on location, etc.) Can't wait for the next episode!

It's so cool when you see a "parallel world" just be Earth but re-contextualized - it's really fun to play around with and to point out similarities and differences, especially if you're from that region! I agree, I'm excited for the next episode, too! Thank you for the comment! :D

Ohhhh, okay, thank you for clarifying that! That’s weird that it wasn’t subtitled. Hm. I’m SO hyped to see what this story does with all the theories and everything tied to it, so thank you for the kind words! And ughhhh, right – that shot of the footsteps transforming as they go into the sea is a great shot, but heartbreaking! And Neil playing Moonlight Sonata! UGH, my heart! SUCH a good episode, but seriously - OLD NEEEILLLLL! The secret organization's lore is WILD! SO MANY! I mean, I love all the options it’s opening up for us and possibilities, but Cuttlefish is crazy for so many! And ooohhh wow, thank you for the note on Rose and Life schools of thought being separate! AHH! Klein is SO cat-coded - cautious, but also curious – I love his confidence, but sir, please be careful. There is NO breather in this series – I love it, though! That’s WILD that they released the Chibi that early – I’m glad you all moved it. But that makes sense why the one patron was asking about it. And Alger really played the game, didn’t he? I don’t blame him for wanting to feed his crew, haha, and Audrey didn’t seem put out, so a fair trade! 😛 LEONARD IS THE BIGGEST FLIRT. I just love his sluttiness. And yes, Klein is so oblivious! The “Ghostbusters” scene was so fun and I just loved Klein and Old Neil’s dance - also, if Alger and Audrey could ONLY see him in this scene, haha! So true! Old Neil’s VA NAILED this episode and the emotion - the heartbreak was palpable in this episode. I felt for him so much. And that scene with the piano and the meaning behind it – ugh, that scene is EVERYTHING to me, symbolism and all! I was speechless! RIP Havre indeed; I’m sad that he is gone! At least we did have some levity in the episode, but it was still very sad!
