Sophia's Private Session (Patreon)

Bluesky/Bluesky (NSFW)...Huh? Uh oh, I think someone broke into my Blender workspace. Wait... It's a girl and she's willingly flattening herself? ...Oh. I recognize her. We should leave her be...===============================================================An Explanation (For Those Who Need/Want It):SquashedStone (Also known as DistortingReality or DR for short) has a lot of different characters and written stories. To give you a quick breakdown, a good amount of his literature includes or features Sophia, a girl who really, really enjoys being flattened and the thought of flattening herself. There's a good amount of art that's been done for her by various artists too. I don't actually have too much to say other than to read those stories if you haven't, since those would give you a better idea of her character. Not to mention, you get to read all of the squishy incidents she and some other OCs of his have been subjected to. However, this animation actually wasn't based off of any of those stories.===============================================================About the Piece and My Thoughts:...Why are you asking me about this? Don't be silly, I didn't make it. Sophia just recorded it and I simply gave you access to it.Jokes aside, I saw that there was a model made for Sophia and DR just fell in love with it instantly. He's already made quite a few animations of his own with her, but he also asked if I wanted the model and I took him up on it.Initially, my idea just started with the thought of Sophia lifting her skirt because of how she tends to think and act and I just worked from there. Speaking of which, characters that are willingly indecent are honestly really easy to work with for ideas. At first, the animation only faded in and out of black after Sophia got squished for a transition, but I ended up switching it when I was refining things and the first time the camera moves afterwards was actually an accident that I decided to keep in since I liked how it looked. Of course, I did my best to minimize clipping as usual, but the part where Sophia lifts her skirt would've taken me forever to fix if I had tried to there. To be clear, that was not an oversight; the reason is because the model does not have bones to adjust the blazer separately, therefore making clipping inevitable without a lot of extra work being put in, so I hope that's okay. Speaking of lifting the skirt, that was a lot of work too due to how many different parts I had to move separately (The arms, elbows, wrists, finger joints, upper body, and the skirt). I think I had to revisit that part alone three or four times to make it look decent enough, so if it seems a little messy, that's why.===============================================================References/Fun Facts (For the Curious and the Easter Egg Hunters):Yes, I've decided to include this for new posts. The tiniest details and references that you may have missed because I never pointed them out elsewhere will no longer plague you. It'll always be in this spot, right above the credits.- If you're savvy with DR's work, you might notice that the textures used for the setting are very reminiscent of ones he might use during a commission. I wanted to do that to give the animation an air of familiarity.- DR was actually the first person to ever do a request for me. Plus, the truth is that he's actually one of the biggest reasons I decided to take up Blender. Not gonna lie, I was originally very on the fence about making flattening content and I nearly decided against it. So of course, I ended up reaching out to him first and now here we are with me having made this as a gift of sorts; he didn't ask for it, but I created it anyways, since I often like making things for friends. Maybe a little too much, at times.===============================================================Credits:Characters: Sophia Flaterang (DistortingReality's OC)DepthDropper for creating and rigging the Sophia model.
