Chris

How long of a break are you guys gonna take after S2? 🥹

W-Fox

Just filling you in what you might have missed: Look closely at what the soldier is holding when he kicks Ymir down the wall during that flashback

Connor P

I actually paused on watching this show around this episode for a few years, finished it over the weekend - wow!

Nina

I think it's kind of like this: Season 1: "Here's a mystery." Season 2: "Here's the answer... but only in tiny, scattered pieces." Season 3: "Remember all those mysteries? Good, because we're about to answer ALL OF THEM." So don't worry if you're confused. That's basically the intended viewing experience. Once Season 3 kicks in, you'll get buried under a mountain of answers and eventually miss the days when you only had questions.

Xavier

You missed a couple lines around 5:10 pretty sure it says what the “that” bit of the mission is and a hint of the reason why they want Christa. Doesn’t really give any answers though, just more questions as usual

Halima

There’s actually 2 big pieces of information that were dropped in these two episodes if you can connect the dots. It’s much easier to do when you can pause and digest what’s been said!

Halima

Next two episodes are so fire!! And then onto my favourite season 🤭

Luckster

Jake, good catch on that part where they say they need "THAT". Which at this point, viewers don't know.

MargoP

This episode is probably the most important one in terms of answers since the begining of the show guys… when you look Closer you have the answers you want

I know flashbacks like this one make you feel like you got too much but pretty much nothing. But if you rewatch it, it did give some really good clues. I forgot we get this flashback here and was surprised by how much I missed the first time I watched this. I think it's just because I was so confused that I really could not comprehend what was really happening. I can't wait for next week!

That's why it's so Important to watch season 3 right after season 2, it's like a whole big arc. I don't know how to explain without spoiling, so i won't try. But believe me, in this show specifically, you can trust the writer; this is one of the best plots written in fiction, in my opinion.

Taylor Olsoy

I hope you reconsider your break from AoT and finish it through.

Luckster

The info they gave from this episode is that: 1. Ymir has an idea who's the "real enemy" is 2. Ymir was an orphan that was chosen to be a cult fake royal or divine. When they were caught by the guards, they were punished. What it shows looks like they were being stabbed and thrown into what looks like top of a wall and there was bright light. Then she transformed into a mindless titan and wandered outside the walls for 60 years until she woke up and ate Marcel. She then woke up being herself in a place where there was night sky. Then she continued living. 3. Christa and Ymir both have sort of similar background were they were forced to live a fake life or fake identity. That's why she felt she needed to find her on the Cadet Corps. So far from the story they know that there are two types of titan, that they’ve seen. One are the mindless pure titans. Those who's only instinct is to eat the people. Second are the intelligent titans. Eren, Annie, Reiner, Burrito, and Ymir. What makes then intelligent, how did they become a titan, at this point, it's still unknown. PS. I’ve rewatched this show so many times, there are still moments to catch and think how freaking brilliant a simple line in dialogue is, after knowing the whole picture. (Eren asking a “Monkey”?) Brilliant detail!

Aúrianna

One thing about Eren is that he will always attempt to the run the fade against all odds. And as a result Mikasa will always have to be his Liam Neeson 😩

Munther Hassan

Don't worry, everything will make sense

Almightydu

you'll have a better grasp of the story after this season but the biggest plot twist are still yet to come

Renabette

The reveals keep on coming. So as someone who recently did a rewatch of the entire series, I really recommend pushing through to the end instead of taking a break after season 2 😭

Chase Noonan

please take a break after s3😩 you will not regret it

rubyrubyroo

Your brains will suffer if u don’t wait to break until post S3 y’all 🥲

rubyrubyroo

The boys Reiner and Barbican didn’t not know the Beast titan - they just didn’t recognize it as “the monkey” hahaha

rubyrubyroo

What you should know from this episode: - Ymir knows what Reiner and Beehive know but is somehow not aligned with them - Ymir was named Lady Ymir and worshiped by a group for having royal blood - falsely - Ymir was then captured & punished for being the leader of that group by another group (?) - The punishment was getting jabbed and pushed off a wall with others - After that Ymir wandered as titan for 60 years before eating Marcel (comrade to Annie Reiner and Bargainbin) - Ymir wakes up as a human and rejoices - Ymir hears about Christa from the wall cultists and goes to find her by joining the cadets - for her own ends (?) - Ymir ends up getting attached to Christa because she believes they have lived parallel lives and have a lot in common :) One thing you missed I think was Reiner and Bonbon calling Eren “the Coordinate” which is new

Things to fill you in that was in this episode that maybe you did not notice she happened to go back to human form after she ate Marcel who Bert said was their friend, even in the conversation with Bert it implies it happened after she ate him. Also, what were the four of them kids who looked really young in the flashbacks doing camping outside the wall. Also it’s so fascinating that when the attack happened 5 years ago Annie, Bert and Riner were literally children. It’s so hard to imagine that this little kid we saw in the flashbacks was the huge colossal titan in the first episode.

Your Juliet

"Everything I thought we knew was wrong" - YES that is the AOT experience lol!

Aniya

Only thing I look forward to after work, love the reactions! Aot is definitely confusing but all answers come out in season 3! Can’t wait for more!

Samurai_X_420

Do not break from this show!! It’s disrespectful to us subscribers to stop midway through a show

sweetdavybrown

it's really good writing when a story reveals more information to you, but you're even more confused 😅

Jenna

Its such an exciting feeling watching you guys unravel this! Youre honestly catching on to way more than I did in my first watch. I promise answers are coming soon! Consider breaking after season 3 (instead of 2) it'll give you time to digest all of the big answers & reveals!

Louise

NO BREAK! First Levi’s backstory episodes, then season 3 and after that, you can take a break

Harry

man I wish they didnt give armin such a pathetic sounding voice in the dub. maybe its the same experience if you speak japanese and watch the original but yeesh
