I'm glad that you watched these episodes! I can only imagine you would be very confused later without this context haha.

Also I know that you mentioned it at the beginning, but remember that these were originally cover stories, so they have a bit of padding and whatnot that makes them feel a little strange even when they are edited down (but there's really no redeeming Sanji's unfortunately)

Oh! I was wondering about these! My memory was fuzzy and I thought they’d come a little further along for some reason. Glad you took a small break from Marineford to watch them!

Daemedeor

In the original anime, they happened between the arcs. Between Amazon lily to impel down, impel down to marineford, etc. In the manga, they came through mostly as cover stories and in between marineford and right after. So it depends on which one you did but they didn’t happen at the same time

Bro I was so confused as to where these eps were lol not me and your editor having the same reaction

Watching the Sanji in Kamabakka kingdom stuff during pride month is kind of hilarious I fear

Also if it helps at all, many fans like to view this as Sanji being an egg/repressed trans woman. Doesnt really fix the representation sadly, but a fun/different way of viewing these scenes

I like that the weather wizard just had no concept of the value of money

Damn I hate that one pace cut out so much from Robin's solo arc. I was looking forward to seeing her reaction to the little girl who was sheltering her in the attic and then got found out. It would have added so much

Where are 457-458 ?
