The hype I feel for the end of this season is insane I love it. Octavia as usual being a badass. I loved her idea with throwing the bottle to create smoke so they can cross over. She’s a brilliant warrior and she’s right where she belongs. That girl never gives up. Clarke killing Whitman by shooting through Lincoln is one of my favorite scenes of the show. “You are my people”. Bellamy and Maya continue to be the mvp’s of the end of this season. They’re both constantly risking their lives and Maya is going against her own people to do what’s right. I wonder if she would’ve done the same if she hadn’t met Jasper. Indra and Lincoln friends again YAYYY!!!

Also this was around the time where they made sci fi type shows have shorter seasons because of production costs. Drama shows cost a lot less to make. But I agree the shorter seasons serve it well because there’s no filler. Some of the drama shows *cough PLL and gossip girl* don’t know how to fill all the episodes because there are so many.

I'm not so sure they had a different writer or team of writers for the first few episodes. I think the way they introduced the show and characters was intentional because it was a 'safe' way to get an audience's interest (corny is safe ig). And as the show progressed, they hit us with the real shit!! 🤣🤣

I LOVE MAYA SO F*KING MUCH SHE IS UNDERRATED

I think with these length of shows, even if the first few episodes aren’t the best it gives it a little bit of time to develop and get the writing better and like the progress whereas with six episodes, you have to be on top of it from the beginning with no errors and no development

char

the way i NEED the next episode immediately
