Two of the best Christmas movies ever! I work in a supermarket so I can't stand snow 😂

Smooticus

Scrooged is an annual watch for me so will definitely be settling in for the full length reaction. I've seen Bloodsport too recently, and as well as seeing it twice when it originally hit theaters, it was constatly playig in the barracks duty hut (along with Seagal's Above the Law), this movie has been tatooed to my brain

Crimson Ace

See... this is what I always say... you can't truly accept the Christmas season into your heart until after an annual viewing of Bloodsport. lol

Bill W

Bloodsport was the random draw winners choice?

Just Jayy1

Grab your toaster time! Scrooged is a classic I watch it every year

I grew up in the Texas panhandle, enjoying 2.5 ft of snow from Halloween to Easter. I now live in Dallas-Fort Worth where the entire metroplex shuts down if we get so much as a dusting of sleet, so I get nostalgic for the real thing. I can't believe it's the same state sometimes. I heavily dislike feeling warm. 45 degrees equals patio weather.

Bill W

I can't say I LOVE the snow but I appreciate it. I would definitely miss it if I moved somewhere without it. I'm guessing Nanette is the snow lover.

Joe J

I do admire your very precise weekly schedules, lol. The phrase, "Coming this week" is now the mantra for most reactions channels...gives you some wiggle room, right?

Phil Stubblefield

Can't wait for my annual sobfest at the end of IAWL! 😭 And let me guess: Carolyn loves the snow, because if you get enough, there's a chance it could shatter the glass in your skylights! 😂 Actually, I'll bet sentimental Nanette loves a wintry wonderland and practical Carolyn tolerates its presence only until it begins to interfere with her plans... 😉

Totally Whatever

😂 I'm sure! I work at a desk and can admire the snow from my window in the heat.

Totally Whatever

Nope, that is coming later. Bloodsport is there to balance out the holiday movies. ;)

Totally Whatever

Ah, yes. Good point - after January it starts to overstay its welcome.

Totally Whatever

We are extremely nostalgic for snow, too, but prefer to be warm! I have a heated coat here in Maine.

Wade Wallenstein

I like being able to stay inside when it's quiet 😁

Wade Wallenstein

I did my annual watche of Scrooged over the weekend but one more time works for me 😁

Ultimate Winter Movie - Dr Zhivago

January???? C'mon... what's the St. Patrick's Day parade without a little lingering snow on the ground?! 😁

Totally Whatever

Carolyn prefers the warm weather too... but not too warm. 70 and sunny is perfect.

Bill W

Alrighty then. 🫤 A poll winner?

Dave

Love you're doing It a Wonderful Life, not only bc of the story but bc I hope it expands your horizon in to other older B&W classics such as Casablanca, Some Like It Hot, To Kill a Mockingbird and many others. This is great story telling and acting. The cinematography of the b&w is very artsy. Looking forward to this.

Smooticus

a good one for January/February

Oh my God, do you know that it’s a wonderful life is not just my favorite Christmas movie but my number one favorite movie of all time of all time! It’s crazy. This film originally came out in June and really wasn’t meant to be a Christmas movie, although everything in the movie speaks to the contrary it didn’t do well in the box office not until people saw the Christmas in it Did it become an absolute Christmas staple. I think I fell in love with Donna Reid in this movie and Bedford Falls, Jimmy Stewart… There’s a lot of sad in this movie but just like in life, you have to get through the sad to find the joy and happiness. I’m so excited you guys are watching it this week. I cannot wait. Can’t wait to see if you choose color or black-and-white.

Jeremy V.

Oh yes, Sesame Street got their names for Bert and Ernie from this movie. lol 🥸

Shawn Goforth

Aren't all coats supposed to provide heat? :)

Totally Whatever

Bert and Ernie! We thought that might be the case!! Oh, and we watched the black-and-white version. ;)

Totally Whatever

Ha ha, yes, all coats should provide heat. This one offers EXTRA heat - like an electric blanket you can wear.

Jeremy V.

Good choice! Ted Turner, the owner of Turner broadcast system or station TBS went nuts on colorizing classic films in the early 90s maybe late 80s. Much to many peoples chagrin.

I got confused by the date for Bloodsport. I thought it was today. *Insert meme of Van Damme blinded and yelling*
