“If we were to choose we would hurt one of you” is that why she doesn’t tell carol how many people died when she lost her temper? She knew it would upset her? Also wouldn’t not being able to choose also mean she can’t say no to air force 1 guy when he wants her? I really really like this. It is quickly becoming one of my favourites. Thank you Claudie. I'd be: "Get away from me! Now! And send me someone who looks like nineties Winona Ryder or 2020 Karen Gillian! You freaks! And a pizza!" (LoLz) Love when you stop to try and figure something out. I agree about the filming/direction. These long meandering shots would otherwise irk me but they really add to the show. Oh god, it's worse than I thought. Not just "Pod-people" but Vegetarians - gadzooks! (joking) The answering in unison would creep out anyone who has watched "The Shining" Wow - ending it with "Nobody Told Me" by John Lennon. Chef's kiss. God I love this show. Thank you, Claudie. See ya on the next one. Cheers!

On the podcast Vince said that he had to go back in post production and make the answering in unison a lot less unison as it didn't sound right if everyone talked exactly together. Maybe our ears need to have just a bit of audio delay to account for our brains knowing that it "should" sound like distinct sounds with physical spatial differences between them?

As you have I'm sure already seen, this is one of those Vince Gilligan shows where every little detail matters and/or is funny. For example, when Davis Taffler explains to Carol that he was picked to talk with her because, "Davis Taffler happened to be nearby and intact. And he was wearing a suit." I find it darkly funny that wearing a suit when the world ended was one of the qualifications to talk with a survivor. As if wearing a tracksuit would be unthinkable. RE: your comment about Zosia "choosing" to go with Koumba Diabaté My take is that Zosia didn't choose to go with him, Carol gave up her choice by saying nothing and so Zosia went with the person who spoke up. I love your comment about commenting that you have no idea what is going on. It's funny that you're able to watch yourself watch the show in real time. Keep up the good work and know that, no, it doesn't become easy to understand as the show goes along. Sorry. It is like Severance that way. It's a feature, not a bug.

As I've mentioned elsewhere prior - This show is the wildest combination of Outbreak, Severance and The Good Place. Would've been interesting if they had a focus group of, say.... 100ppl... who were given an exit questionnaire after watching the 1st episode... then after the 3rd, 6th, finale.... Each chapter provides a different set of variables forcing the viewer to confront their own sense of morality. I am grateful there is so much wit and comedy incorporated (the 2 being very different elements) to take some of the weight off of the viewing audience. It's a very fine line between "intriguing" and "too much" when creating something that is supposed to be entertaining. Can't wait to watch along and see your thoughts going forward. Cheers!

Agree, this show is so weird (love!) but so good! It is a blast - I laugh so much but at the same time I am anxious! - to watch and can’t wait for the next episode! Great question about whom would we choose…I got to 🤔 about it!

Funny how Carol judges someone for sleeping with the hive mind. Also it is interesting that the hive claims that they can't knowingly hurt/attack humans but they didn't just assault people by turning them by kissing but the first transmission of the virus also happened through a rat bite
