Well... this episode has knocked me off my feet to be honest. Three huge twists, one that came right out of the blue.

I'm excited to see what you guys think of this!

Enjoy!

Somebody answer that cause Claudie fucking called it!!!!

Mae does have a niece so maybe her family

O-Town Bear

I knew it I knew it I knew it (Re: Maye) the way they had her in this episode and probably all for a plot device - her "stack of shares" will go to Ted or someone and that will give the majority share back to Rebecca /// damn Zelda! /// No outro music. /// What an episode. Thanks, Claudie.

I didn't think you were right about Zelda and yet.... Maye's passing on really got to me. A great episode again. This show never disappoints.

CHRISXGAMESALOT

I agreed with you this entire season but this show loves twists. So I was optimistic but I'm glad she's the villain. Her friends are evil af so she's definitely just as bad maybe even worse.

Ted inherits the pub and we have a Cheers like spinoff.

Yeah Zelda was the obvious culprit, but they tried to fool us with Rupert for a split second. I was hoping for another twist, but there you go. Man this is vintage Ted Lasso making us go through all the feels at once. Also it's been pointed out that this being the penultimate episode, there's always a big reveal that either Rebecca or Ted wind up telling the other in the previous penultimate episodes. This one hits like a gut punch! But I'm interested to see what's going to happen next! The Roy and Keeley scene was so sweet. We got to see his imagination come out. Perfect for being a father. I do think it was strange it took her that long to tell him. Telling a friend first I think indicates you're REALLY having doubts. But she didn't seem that doubtful when she told Rebecca. Maybe it was the whole just getting back together thing and worrying about his reaction. They may never have even discussed the possibility yet. So, while it's weird, I don't think it's that weird. Nervous for next week!

I don't have a lot of things to say about this. It just kicked me in the gut, and I just don't have a lot. A couple of notes, and that's it: The lady who sat with Rebecca and Higgins and was way too grabby was in Season 2. Suzi Campbell, dog breeder. She brought Macy Greyhound, and Tina Feyhound for Higgins to pick a new mascot to replace the late Earl Greyhound. She's a huge fan of Keeley. HUGE fan. I'm starting to think Rebecca and Higgins know damned well that it's Zelda, and were setting her up. Previously, whenever she just walked into the office, they were all smiles and "Zelda!" Now, there's a definite cooling towards her, asking if they had a meeting scheduled, and getting a little pissy about it (understandably, really... is there no security in that building?... Oddly, Rebecca does seem to have a secretary. When Zelda strolls in talking to someone returning from Space, a woman in a green dress appears from the side of the door where there's a desk in the antechamber, seeming to see if it's alright that Zelda just enters, then she just goes back). Almost immediately, Higgins brings up the shares situation, Rupert, and the Milks. He plants the idea that the Milks are a juicy target who have sold their stake before. Even on the plane they seemed to be really snide towards her. Rebecca doesn't sit with her on the plane or at the game, making her sit on the other side of Higgins, who was on the other side of Suzi. As you noticed, Rebecca and Higgins were talking just as the porter showed up to tell Rebecca about the bad thing that happened. Higgins was saying "You've got to be yourself" and Rebecca answered "But why not, just for a minute..." and then the bad thing happened and all thoughts of what Zelda was up to were banished. So, did they twig to Zelda, and have they been playing her the whole time? Or is it all going to come down to the disposition of Mae's shares? I hope Keeley has a girl. Roy is such a Girl Dad.

I was having a drink for the weekly Ted Lasso episode. And halfway through, I felt that they were killing off Mae. By the time it "happened", waterworks. The only other thing I can think of happening is that Rupert was the one that actually passed. Even though he and Rebecca had their past, it still wouldn't be something to cheer about (I don't think Ted would ever). If it was Mae, maybe they did have a shoot with Anthony Head and he may be at the funeral. But then again I don't know why they wouldn't wait for that episode for the In Memoriam.

Even by Ted Lasso standards, this episode had EVERYTHING.

I never knew we could do images in comments now! How fun!

CHRISXGAMESALOT

Yeah they added this feature last month I think.
