Before this chapter I wondered if the actions of Harry eventually lead to the future of Harry (so similar to POA or the wonderful fanfic Basilisk-born). The one thing I hope for is that Harry actually discloses to Charlus that he's his grandson from the future, as well as to arcturus since I'm assuming that his role will be essential as always. I always miss those kind of scenes in time travel fics and I believe that you're a good enough writer to not make it corny or weird.

Good chapter! I guess Harry doesn't know the patronus is a messenger spell too at this point. I think it's be funny if Harry struggled with duelling because there are rules and conventions whereas all his experience comes from fighting for his life where rules mean sod all.

Great chapter. I guess since there’s no time paradox created by Harry slaying the basilisk we must assume that the timeline is altered and harrys timeline has disappeared. Even if he lives to the same age as before nothing happens guaranteed amongst his friends and family I like the increasing social contact he is having along with the basilisk death which although anticlimactic is also still entertaining. Also interesting to hear even professor nott try to delay confrontation. The aspect of pure blood status and societal power must be as powerful as ever given the timeline. Harry being a self proclaimed muggleborn challenging the natural order of politics can only end poorly I’m sure. Poorly for his enemies.

Can Harry just go to Gringotts and sell the venom? Can he sneak the Goblins in thru the back way and get them to process the Basilisk so he will have his own money? Could Harry at some point get Charlus to go to Gringotts with him maybe with Harry's great grandfather and have a linage test and they will know he is a Potter just not the whole story and it will give him a place of refuge? If I am thinking ahead, Harry has been blood adopted by the Flamels and will live an extraordinary many centuries, so he may still get to enjoy his time with his friends. Or he may decide that he likes where he is and just live from now as his future!

Great chapter. In WOAR, Harry eliminates Draco by marrying Narcissa and breaking Lucius' mind. If Abraxus doesn't smarten up soon, this branch of the Malfoy line will end with him in this story.

Definitely. I can never understand why the characters wont ever admit they are time travelers and family. Stepping back had some great scenes because of Harry coming clean. Hopefully in this story we'll get to that too, because frankly it's less believable to keep it a secret for the rest of his life.

I would have liked to see him keep the basilisk… made for some good scenes before. But here we go :)

Well this chapter hurt my heart pretty bad after reading A Flower for the Soul, even if I understand that this Harry had no connection to her other than the CoS incident. So this was a pretty logical decision. I am looking forward to hopefully seeing some conflict following the incident in this chapter and his tutoring soon. As always thank you for sharing your writing with us!
