Today is a rather special day for me. It marks exactly 5 years ago that I posted the very first chapter of Honour Thy Blood!

Without being overly sentimental about the hole thing, the stories you read now would not be possible without you guys here that support my efforts, so thank you all.

I still remain humbled by it, and always will.

Hmm, from what I see the wards of Potter Manor should have repelled Harry the second he stepped into the vicinity of the house. We saw in an earlier chapter that Nicholas had to grant permission before Harry could enter. Considering that the Potters are a wealthy family, they should have strong wards in their home. It is likely the case that this will be brought up by the Potters in the next chapter, that Harry is likely a Potter since he did not trigger the wards. Now, Harry may feel betrayed by this deception. It depends on how the author will explain it. This is just pure speculation on my part though.....may not even happen.

Intresting thought. I dont think Lee's going that way though. Firstly, he was side along apparated by a member of family, which is usually enough. Second, Flamels are likely way more "paranoid" than Potters, so having a special layer of wards thst need this permission could just be their thing. Third, I think being repelled by the wards is probably quite unpleasant and likely harmful. I dont think they would risk it just because Harry kinda looks similar to them. They have no reason to believe he is a Potter and they would look like incompetent idiots if the wards indeed repelled him (which is almost assured in their view).

I'm pretty sure they didn't get triggered becaused they keyed him in previously or something like that, I doubt Lee's going to go that route to uncover Harry as a Potter
