Harry got to hurt people that deserved it. Nicholas got to verbally abuse someone other than Ames. What's not to like? This isn't just the best chapter of the story so far, but one of the best of any of your stories, IMO.

Love it! I really like how you made the connection between Harry and the Flamels known and how even though they did not "adopt him" they still claim him as family and now he has their name as a sort of shield for asshats like the Malfoys. Even if it will likely also be a target at the same time.

I think it's because it's not important... In magical world injuries that we take weeks to recover from only take a day or two, so no concern at all. It's more about the slight/embarrasment of "how this uppity mudblood dares be better and doesnt know his place"

Misunderstanding. It wasn't the "hurt" bit I was querying but the "in a duel" bit. The whole conversation sounded like Harry had cursed him in a corridor rather than a monitored duel in a classroom environment.
