So, Beast of Reincarnation looks great. My biggest concern about GameFreak, though, is that all their recent Pokemon games have been so very phoned in. I’m hoping that won’t be the case with this, but they’ve earned nothing but my skepticism. Not completely finished with this episode yet, but it so far paints a pretty rosy picture of the studio and their approach to the craft of game making, which addressing the elephant in the room — no, not Tembo, but the figurative elephant that is the shoddiness of their modern Pokemon games.
