I (as an ice hockey loving romance novel reader who is obsessed with time travel) have been extremely excited about this book. So I was apprehensive about your review. Thankfully the words “I’d fully forget I even had a penis. And yet, love finds a way!” have made me EVEN MORE EXCITED than I was before. I suspect this is going to be a book that I enjoy torturing my wife with excerpts from as I read 😄 Fantastic review, thank you!

I must say I truly hate the thing where plot & protagonists give A Famous Author all their ideas (see also Shakespeare in Love). It always seems to come from a place of loving the author but like then why are you so obsessed with negating their ability to come up with anything original at all!!!
