We all do crackers on Christmas in Australia and New Zealand as well, I believe in Canada and South Africa too. Same thing usually a joke, a trivia fact, a paper crown and some kind of mini tool. Like a tweezers, dice, tape measure - random stuff that can fit in basically. People don't generally make their own here but last year I did, you can buy craft sets or make it from scratch, turns out the reason the prizes are random is because it really is hard to fit much in there 😂

JESSICA :D hahaha! I hadn't noticed you were reading the names, maybe it's cause I hadn't hit full screen yet, Greg gave the game away! I love Phil's repeated haggling joke, just when it starts getting annoying it gets funny again. What an episode, Rhod's eye pain, the chaotic mess of the boys in the team task, and poor Jessica falling off the stage. I'm glad she wasn't hurt, means I can laugh at it on rewatches. It's even funnier considering Kerry asked "what happens if we fall off the stage" before the task 🤣 Kudos to Greg for how quickly he was over there to check on her. A lorry is what you would typically call a truck, but specifically big ones not like a pickup. A garbage truck is a bin lorry here, for example. A semi-truck here would be an articulated lorry. With the crackers, the "prize" eg, mini pack of cards, mini screwdrivers etc will be different in each one, but everyone will get a silly paper hat and a bad xmas themed joke. The slip of paper with the joke might also have a charade to act out or a riddle, and sometimes a trivia question. In my family we haven't bothered with them for years cause they're pretty wasteful.

Phil's haggle joke- the guys on stage know it as a running joke, we know it's a running joke, but for the live audience it's the first time they've heard it

I think from memory Jessica was pregnant when she fell of the stage and there was quite a bit of time taken to make sure she was ok. I love Jessica,she seems like such a genuinely lovely,happy person.

I love this episode but I can't watch Rhod's don't blink task. Jessica's fall is iconic. Kerry predicting it by asking what happens if you fall beforehand makes it funnier. You couldn't make it up! Poor James and his meltdown! It makes for great tv! This episode is a perfect taskmaster episode IMO. I love series 7!! The joke that comes in the cracker is meant to be bad!

There is a stage task within a couple of series where the written task refers to “the Knappett” and that confuses initially the contestants as to what a knappett is
