Welcome to the world of M. Night Shaymalan. Where his sole purpose in making movies is to keep you in the dark until the end, when he hits you with a twist you didn’t see coming. This is probably his best movie, but there are others that I think you’d like, and would make for great reactions. 1. Signs (with Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix) 2. The Village (with William Hurt, Sigourney Weaver, Bryce Dallas Howard, and again, Joaquin Phoenix) 3. Unbreakable (with Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson) 4. Split (with James McAvoy and Anya Taylor Joy) 5. The Happening (with Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel). I was channel surfing to find something to watch when this notification popped up on my phone. And now I have something to watch. So here we go.

Baldemort

You HAVE to watch Armageddon next! Its honestly one of the best sci fis of the 90s and it stars yours truely. Bruce Willis, Liv Tyler, Owen Wilson, Michael Clark Duncan to name a few (RIP Michael) its like the avengers of actors. I loved this sixth sense reaction. If you watch it back for a 2nd time, its an entirely different movie now that you know the twist. You can catch all the little details and hints that give away that hes been dead the entire time.

You said you felt dumb at the beginning of your outro because of how you reacted to the end of this movie. You reacted the exact same way I did, along with the millions of others who saw it for the first time. The twist was mind blowing, and I don’t know anyone personally who saw it coming. Did you recognize Cole as little Forrest from Forrest Gump? Haley Joel Osment is, in my opinion, one of the best child actors I have seen. The kid emoted sadness, loneliness, anguish, and fear better than any 12 year old kid that I can remember…and it earned him a well deserved Oscar nomination. Also, he was hard to recognize because he lost so much weight for the role, but Vincent Gray was played by Donnie Wahlberg, Mark Wahlberg’s brother.

This one and Signs are amazing, as far as the director is concerned. It's what built the interest for us in his films. I genuinely wish the rest had been as well executed, but I wish they had never been made. To this day, I still want my money back for those.

Well used a box of Klennex as I do every time I watch this movie. Great movie!

Digital Droo

Watching the reaction right now and I almost choked when you said the word "hereditary" in passing…you know, because the actress in that movie is in this one.

Eddie Perkins

This is my favorite M. Night Shyamalan movie; it's probably everyone's. I know it's the one movie reaction that I have seen more than any other. And I loved your reaction to it. And yes, you are right about the red, and you are also right about Munchausen by Proxy. The movie I think you're talking about is The Visit, which I have not seen. But I do recommend a lot of his other movies.

Unbreakable is also good.

Teagan: I feel so dumb..." Oh, no, no, no! Don't. I can't stress this enough--about you're not figuring out the twist ending, that's what was supposed to happen. The movie is designed so you don't work it out until the exact moment when you did. This was a fantastic reaction. So, so good.

I've actually seen one. LOL Awesome US Movies. He figured it out reeeeeally early on. I know it can't be helped, but I couldn't help being a bit bummed. He's the only one I've seen that knew before the reveal, though.
