Dear diary, I’d like to reach the point in life where putting shoes on feels like a major change of plans.

Yami, barefoot in the sunshine with a drink in her hand, is making a fairly persuasive case. White walls, a tiled roof, a bikini that doesn’t suggest any urgent appointments.

I keep thinking about a day that can turn into a swim without anyone consulting a calendar. A drink that can last a little longer. Shoes waiting somewhere by a door.

A respectable set of ambitions, I think. Difficult to put on a vision board without looking suspiciously unemployed.

Querido diario, me gustaría llegar a ese punto de la vida en el que ponerse zapatos parece un cambio de planes importante.

Yami, descalza al sol y con una bebida en la mano, está haciendo bastante por convencerme. Paredes blancas, un tejado de tejas y un bikini que no sugiere ninguna cita urgente.

No dejo de pensar en un día que pueda acabar en un baño sin que nadie consulte el calendario. En alargar un poco más la bebida. En unos zapatos esperando junto a alguna puerta.

Unas aspiraciones bastante respetables, creo yo. Difícil ponerlas en un mural de objetivos sin parecer sospechosamente en paro.
