I think sao will always manage to stay in that sweet soft spot of number 7 which means i don’t have to worry about him dropping it. Sao’s highs are peak but this current arc can be a bit slow

The first half of season 2 was good in my opinion and I think season 3 onwards is very good. To each their own though

The fact that you’re only on episode 2 of Made in abyss and already placed it that high is a good sign. Also we sincirely request for you to turn off the op/ed auto skip for Made in Abyss. There are several episodes where the op/ed is replaced by footage and music by Kevin Penkin. You already missed the one on ep 1 and we all tell you from experience… you dont want to miss those.

I understand the Boruto ranking, it's very sobering after coming down the high of Shippuden and OG Naruto. Although, I still enjoy it and find it fun to see what happens to their universe after the world was saved

The fact he likes this section of Jojos is a great sign, the middle section of Part 3 is a bit of a slog to get through, but the ending of Part 3 is my favorite part of the entire anime. Also Parts 4 and 5 get a lot better pacing wise after this.

Honestly really really surprised about jojo but hell yeah I love jojo. You should do this monthly, it can also incentive people to recommend anime better for the Patreon exclusives. Also tier lists do very well on YouTube so those would be cool for you to do as well! On a side note I ducking love the dark souls stream!

Well I doubt that, One Piece is the goat, Jojos is also up there for sure, but it can't surpass One Piece. That being said yeah Part 5 is peak.

He got mad that people weren’t liking that he didn’t vibe with it at episode 1. He blamed the show but in actuality it was because he just came of watching a One piece marathon for like 6 hours and tired. Anyways it’s not a big deal as there are bunch of other reactors watching

I like part 4 and 6 more than 5 tbh, but 5 is excellent. Part 3 is the worst in terms of pacing, but he already seems to be enjoying it a lot despite being in like the middle of part 3 which is a very good sign. Part 3 has a really excellent finale though, and some of those fights in the second half are bangers. But part 4 onwards is just peak part after peak part imo.

World building really and characters(that also come in later). Its a story with no returnal to normal life, just plunging deeper in abyss. The fascinating occupants in further levels, the lore of it. Its really great, im caught up to maga(which is not hard because you are lucky to get 2 60page chapters a year), so i know what still has to xome in anime form is fantastic

Boruto anime currently only has a few peak/fire episodes. Majority is just very bad. The manga has been picking up lately though, so once we get to the point where it carries on with the manga it'll be a much better anime to watch. I can see why it's near the bottom of the ladder right now at least.

shangri emphasizes on gaming and gaming experience, while SAO emphasizes on building the concepts and content of the entire virtual world (espicially from ss3 onwards), SAO has sci-fi element, not just simply play, doing quests, kill bosses, upgrage,... and enjoy games like sunraku. Both movies have 2 different directions so you can't say shangri is better than SAO or even have a comparision between them . Based on your comment, I know that you had the wrong expectations and direction when watching SAO right from the beginning.

Most people love MIA for its world building, which is beautiful, unique, and most importantly mysterious (because you know, the deeper you go, the more strange things there are, who knows what the last floor is?). Above all, the residents of each floor and mysterious characters will appear to help the main characters explore deeper mysteries.
