This definitely should have been posted sooner, but my computer crash set me back a couple of days. Here's where supernatural and magic and mythology stuff starts to happen like, right away! Also the tense change is purposeful. Again this is super unbetaed so if there's repetition or too much info dumping or continuity errors and such, that's why. I also can't do the PDFs yet because of the computer crash, which would be helpful in at least having a reference guide to all the characters and who they're married to/related to.There's an illustration included at the end of the chapter, just for fun. Don't miss it!

About halfway through this this chapter I found myself hooked again and I'm tremendously enjoying your new, matured writing style. (more coming in through your Gmail inbox)

I am very much loving this story! I look forward to more m/m as that is my preference, but told in this style I love all of it and I am wondering who Sialuk has her eye on if not Akiaguk or Kesuk. I'm so excited for the next installment and that artwork was super gorgeous!

Glad you're enjoying it, and there will definitely be more m/m! The story is split between Kesuk and Sialuk's POVs, alternating chapters. Sialuk is not so much into the whole romance and sex thing with anybody at all, but she does like somebody a little more than everyone else. Her half of the story is not very relationship heavy, but little things do happen :)

Sialuk is an admirable woman. I like how she chafes at the idea of being forced to bear a child when her desire is to protect their people and how their society is both a mirror image of and different than a patriarchal society. Amarok resemble wolves but I presume not all wolves are Amarok?

Thank you! I really enjoyed imagining this matriarchal society and how it would have shortcomings and positives especially when there's so few actual men living in it and how that's an issue to their survival/continuation. Glad you like Sialuk, as well. And yes, there's normal wolves as well.
