A Very Merry UnbirthdaySurprise! Here's a silly birthday story I wrote for Alan's birthday (which it still is in my timezone). This would take place in the time jump between Nocturne and Skiagraphia but there really aren't many spoilers in here, and if there are they are incredibly mild. Keyd and Alan are just in Keyd's tent talking about birthdays. I'd consider this completely canon.
