Obscura IV: sneak peek (Patreon)

I haven't actually done one of these sneak peaks for a while, I feel?  But I put it on the schedule for this month (I put a LOT OF THINGS on the schedule for this month) so here it is!

This is part of a scene where Alan was there, but didn't actually hear/understand most of what was going on. Despite the amount of 'screen time' Keyd and Alan have together, there is a LOT OF STUFF like this that is only in their invidual POVs. They have different conversations with different people (or unheard/not-translated ones) and do a lot of individual things that the other person isn't around for. Which is why Keyd's story is worth writing; if it was just gonna be all the exact same stuff I wouldn't be doing it~
