Hey guys!

I had some time to rest and let that wildness of that last episode just marinate for a bit. This episode was a complete change of pacing and energy from the last one, and I fucking loved it!

To be 1000% honest with you guys, I feel so badly for Ymir. 2000 years as a slave?! That hurts my heart so much. I will finish the show entirely before making any concrete determination about what is right and wrong, but as of right now, I feel like I'm team Eren.

Again, that is not a definitive statement! Just how I'm feeling right now. Let me know what you guys think!

Love you all so much,

Alex

WOOO HOOO! NOT THE FIRST TO COMMENT BUT THIRD TIMES A CHARM!

Conor Royston

LET'S FUCKKKKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

David Grundza

No matter who you side with you can argue you are right that’s the beauty of the show

Stefan

"The truth is there is no truth."

Dune

Yeah, Alex should just try his best to understand both sides. No one wins in war, but you can decide who loses the least

Rachel Trainor

Ymir remained a slave in this “coordinate” realm for 2000 years making all of the natural titans out of clay. And remember, each second in the outside world feels like an eternity when spent in this place too, so to Ymir it feels like infinite amount of time spent there as a slave. (Example: Eren and Zeke were only together there wandering through their father’s memories for a tiny fraction of a second in the outside world.) Eren awoke the concept of freedom in her as he believes he was the one destined to do for those 2000 years. Eren’s attack titan’s power (besides seeing the future) is embedded with a strong desire for defiance and freedom. Combined with the fact that Eren’s personality has been built like that since birth. He was the perfect person to eventually come along and manage to trigger Ymir to act without using royal blood - to finally go against their orders - and break the chains of slavery to embrace his same angry desire for freedom that Eren has. That’s why he was the first non royal able to command her.

EREN IS RIGHT, FOR ELDIAAAAAAAA🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

ALEX, YOU NEED TO, AND i IMPLORE YOU, TO WATCH THE AOT OVAS, ESPECIALLY NO REGRETS. ANYONE WHO LIKES OR ADMIRES LEVI NEEDS TO WATCH NO REGRETS, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND HIS MOTIVATIONS MUCH BETTER.

Agustin Mercado

Ok yalls I have an idea. Alex said he was going to rewatch it even though he’s not going to post it, but what if he did dosent need to take a slot just extra, not scheduled just random little drops and binges. Heck he could even watch it with his wife to get her reactions

Ceeyon

17:54 Remember Zeke said this "coordinate realm" can be 100's of years but in the real world it is an instant. So everytime Eren, Zeke, Rainer, Berthold, Annie etc. transformed in the "real" world Ymir had to build their titan for multiple years

arian

time is infinite in the paths or (the coordinate) as we learned last episode so yes ymir crafted them all simultaneously but time’s basically frozen outside while ymir is working in a sense. also it’s a possibility that by the end that this will be your favorite show of all, for good reason.

Tristan Caby

My fav thing about this whole show is the episode title for this one. The fact the first episode was to you, and now it ends with from you.

bito_btw

She had 3 not 9

Kaptain

She never had 9 babies? She has the 3, who we can assume had 3 each. At some point the titans stopped splitting.

Kungor

Wasn't it made clear there that she only had 3 daughters; Maria, Rose and Sina? They were the only ones seen in the episode and the only ones seen eating Ymir's body. The rest of the nine would have just come from their offspring, no?

arian

first ymir only had 3 babies, and second, without saying much, eren technically wasn’t even the person that ymir has been waiting for

Jay

There were 13 fingers pointed to Ymir when the pig was stolen. Also 13 years after she received the power of the titans when she passed on to the paths. That is the reason why all 9 titans die in 13 years.

Eli

YES TIME PASSES INFINITELY AND INSTANTLY IN PATHS SO THE WHOLE 3 EPS ARE HAPPENING NOT EVEN A SECOND AFTER EREN GOT SHOT

Conor Royston

Bro there's still time to delete this.. xD

Rachel Trainor

Thanks everyone I took the mistake out!

Ryan Jones

PLEASE DO A REWATCH ON THE PATREON I BEG OF YOU

Violet

The first rewatch is always a TRIP!!!

Rachel Trainor

@Arian: Not talking about what you are from a later episode- without saying much as well but to answer your comment- more than one person were needed in order to be able to bring this change about in her.

Luis P

I have a mug that says "eren was right" I stand by the mug. 😊 Also this anime has probably one of the best story's in any media. Its just a complete package Action. Heartbreak. Emotions. Music. Just everything is perfect. Insert perfect Homelander meme.

Sam Hinton

Also the flower Ymir saw with the blood on it had 9 petals which could also represent the 9 titans that descended from her

dar7krides

I like the idea of a rewatch with his wife

Pieck

Alex look at the first episode of the shows title

Rachel Trainor

I’d like to rewatch in sub. I like different things about both versions! Then there would be an aspect that is new the second time!

Claytor

don't forget time in the paths is infinite. while in the real world it's been 2000 years. to Ymir it's probably been 100,000 or more. Everytime someone transforms she builds the titan form sand. How long do you think that takes with that bucket?

Tristan Ramsey

If you rewatch the intros watch with subtitles and pay attention to the lyrics

Riley Cabral

Wow!! I've watched this show many times and I just now realized that Niles was the titan who tried to eat Kaya. Such a small detail but it just adds a little bit more to the scene

ChoccyGiraffe

YAAAY UNPRECEDENTED HORRIBLE GENOCIDE OF INNOCENT PEOPLEEE!

Cole Romero

Wait, the first episode is To You in 2,000 Years, the very beginning of our story. We’ve now reached the origin of that message

Cole Romero

Is this how chicks start simping over genocidal maniacs? Like now that I’ve seen my first genocidal maniac in an anime, how does that work? Is it the voice, the motivations, or sm else?

Wispu

Yeah moral with this... Imagine living in small town and someone in this town announced killing everyone in world exept your own small town. You havent before last year even know rest off the world population even exist.

Lil j

The whole point of a rewatch is to catch stuff u missed or to connect dots, having it in a different language isn’t helping that

Lil j

I need that mug

Luis P

It was actually a gift from a friend, we've debated the topic many times 😂😂

FluffGB

So you missed the whole point of the story huh?
