Timothy Alberts

Anne and Christopher both wrote erotic fiction, so sex is often found in their work. Christopher has a whole series of gay romances, sweet and spicy. I have to confess that I love Lestat, but then, I know his whole story, right back to vampire origins in ancient Egypt.

I'm so entranced by your gaze toward the camera during key scenes 😂 You convey so much with no words at all.

So they definitely dive deeper into his backstory in this show? Or is that just for the novel? Or should I even be asking this in case it’s a spoiler 😫🙏🏻

Thank you, I’m very happy to see you again :) Much love to you always!! 💙💙

I haven’t seen this version. I have read all the books and seen the original movie with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. ( I dressed Brad in two of his movies ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 )

I had forgotten how much I loved the pace of this show. I feel like it takes it's time but doesn't drag. Maybe because the characters, the environment and the themes of the show are all so rich that feels like a lot to take in all at once. It really gives us time to soak it all in.

😅😅 watching your face, you were so cracking me up with some of your expressions! and one might have been accidental, but as the mother speaks about fingernails, it looked like you quickly hid your thumbnail.. 😅 so.. in the meantime i managed to binge most of the two seasons.. have a few episodes left. and if HR is a masterclass in how a faithful adaptation should be done, this show is a masterclass of how a less faithful adaptation should be done, and still honoring the spirit of the original work. Anne Rice, back when, revolutionized the "vampire novel". this show somehow manages to even elevate her work. the writing is top notch amazing. it totally absorbs me. the acting!! of course, all the visuals.. but the score is perfect, too. the original pieces, plus they somehow got in practically all of my favorite composers.. 🙈 had a blast seeing you being exposed to this for the first time.. ✌️

Anne Rice novels are usually current events AND backstory in varying measures. So is this show. while the first two seasons deal mostly with Louis' backstory (based on the first novel) other characters are getting some exposition, too. season 3 will be mostly Lestat (second novel).

Daniel continuing to ask if Louis ate his nephew and Louis not answering is a whole mood😅 Also that scene with the coffins cracks me up every time 😭😭 the dynamic between them is so great

You need to know and always remember that Lestat lies constantly and Louis is an unreliable narrator. Don't ever trust either one of them.

Ken C

A small point: The reason that Lestat is angry at Louis' "lack of restraint" when he kills the disrespectful man isn't because Louis acted on his own. It's because (a) the man was Alderman Fenwick's attorney, and (b) he was killed right by their property. Lestat wants Louis to accept his vampiric nature, but he also wants him to be smart about his choice of victims, as well as the location of his kills.

the show will give alot more backstory in future episodes

Thank you for continuing to be here with me :) This show has definitely pulled me in already. I’m excited but also nervous to see how the show progresses 😫🙏🏻
