Charlie wanting everything to be perfect was never realistic and when things go wrong, he gets too stressed about it. Nick does his best to support him, as does Tori, but Charlie will still dwell on the problems unfortunately 😢💜 Season 2 is definitely more stressful. As for older brothers being brutal, you know my story about that so I can relate. Much love as always ❤️

Interestingly, I don't read any intentionality into Ben pursuing Imogen, beyond having a beard. But you could easily be right. We don't get access to Ben's inner world and we've learned nothing about him that would conflict with such manipulation.

Yeah, season 1 was great and I absolutely loved it, but seasons 2 and 3 are on a whole different level, season 2 is my favorite 😍😍. And the fact that Alice Oseman writes every single episode herself is honestly insane. She must be under so much pressure all the time, juggling the books, the scripts for the tv show and movie, and making sure everything stays true to the story. 😅😂 The amount of work and passion she and everyone else on the team puts into Heartstopper is genuinely incredible, Heartstopper is very special to a lot of people 🥹🥹🥹🥹

Wait till you see Nick in Season 3!! I have 3 older siblings that are 20 plus years older than me. The my oldest sister died last summer. My 2nd sister and my brother and I were never close. I always felt that I was something to be put up with by my family. Except by my late mom who loved me unconditionally. My brother knows I'm gay as does the rest of the family. My brother and I never talk about me being gay. I know that if we did, it wouldn't end well.

This episode makes me very very grateful for my older sibling, we’ve been close all our lives and still talk very often and can tell each other everything - but I think it helps that we’re both queer (even though we didn’t come out to each other until I was like 20). The scene with Tao and his mum was so sweet. Did you have subtitles for the cantonese parts?
