I absolutely loved this movie, Into the Spider-Verse is by far one of the best animated films I saw in recent years and with the sequel I consider it as one of the best animated sequels ever made and my new favorite Spider-Man movie. The story is really incredible and has so many shocking moments in it and personally I didn’t really get burned out by them all but I do see where you’re coming from, the animation is absolutely beautiful and on par with the original, and the characters are really well done and do a great job of expanding the characters from the original, on top of giving us great new ones. Also I really love all the different appearances of all the Spider-Man’s we see in this movie, seriously for hard core Spider-Man fans I can imagine it would be fun just to point out all the different Spider-Man’s in this movie. Overall Across the Spider-Verse is a fantastic follow up and one of the best animated films of the year and my new favorite Spider-Man movie. Also without spoiling anything, I’ll just say that while there are a lot of shocking moments, the ending will blow you away and make you ask for more, and after watching this movie I am so hyped for Beyond the Spider-Verse when that comes out next March. Also one thing I gotta say is that if Sony is this good at handling Spider-Man in animated form with the Spider-Verse movies, then why the hell can’t they do that with their live action stuff. Also I really appreciate you calling out those anti woke groups again, as far as I’m concerned Miles Morales is absolutely Spider-Man and deserves to be treated no different than Perter Parker, I already mentioned this during the Little Mermaid remake review, but anyone who actually doesn’t believe he is Spider-Man deserves to be labeled as racist and anyone who would label things they don’t like as woke deserve to be labeled as racist and they are not real Spider-Verse fans and their beliefs deserve to be silenced.

I’m glad that you love this movie because I for do love it as well. I might even say that it better than the first film as a Spider-Man fan. It was so unbelievable fantastic to the point that I seen it three times in one weekend as this was my most anticipated movie of the year. The story was terrific, the writing was great, the direction by three new directors was superb, the animation which I can say is a masterpiece that people at Sony has done, the voice acting was strong, characters were memorable, action sequences were brilliant, the emotional heart was a tearjerker, Easter eggs and references were cool and was handled well, and the score by Daniel Pemberton which he should be given enough credit in creating unique music throughout and soundtrack by Metro Boomin were catchy and great. I know the story is not complete as this is a first part of a two part story which can apply to criticism to some people and give those a bit warranted with it 140 runtime but to be fair, this is supposed to be an epic movie where they are trying to balance everything out but I don’t mind with either them as this is the best superhero movie of this year that neither MCU films of this year or even that controversial Flash movie can’t top as this earns one of the best sequels ever made. Best animated film of the year? It one of favorite films if not my favorite movie of this year but can’t say call it yet unless Disney’s Wish or How Do You Live by Hayao Miyazaki say other wise. Also, great job once again for calling those racist trolls in attacking this movie like they did with The Little Mermaid remake is racism is not welcome. One thing I would have to disagree surprisingly is Ben Reilly in this movie. If you don’t know, Ben Reilly was a clone version of Peter Parker which is considered controversial when it came back in the 90s when they introduced clone arc storyline. He was an obscure character at the time even it has it fans so with having Andy Samberg to play that character who take things too seriously and literally that was established from the 90s, it makes perfect sense and his comedic timing works pretty well. I know some fans of this character will be upset by this, but it works for me as I’m not particularly a fan of that character. With that said, I can’t wait for Beyond the Spider-Verse to come out and it turns out amazing just like with this film and the first, we might have ourselves the greatest trilogy in recent years so I can’t wait for the third film to come out!

how is it that in every Sony film he’s in, Andy Samberg always has to be typecast as the annoying comic relief? Jake Peralta deserves better

I love seeing some people speculate Spider Gwen is a trans woman. Maybe true maybe not but its cool. Also great movie.
