Dancing is one of those things we are more in our heads about more then others . Im naturally shy so I get it but I love to dance usually takes liquid courage of me to dance but I have rhythm and I can dance lol I think I second guess myself more then anything. If you watched sum of their old dance practices, you will know bts always have gone hard even on dance practices for this tour they have spend most of their time on the studio practicing their moves! even if in hooligan they don’t move a lot they still need to know who goes into which space since you know they are 7 people and even with all the dancers you might get confused, but yes bts dance practices are always this good! you should watch IDOLS dance practice it goes way too hard! its one of my favorite dance practices that dance is crazy ^^! i would also recommend one of their oldest songs from 2016-2015 Run and i need u! there is a reason why bts has always been ever since they got popular the number one, even if other people called it glazing i think bts dances have always been the best! even on performances and tours they give it their all and not be lazy! ^^ (they might call it glazing but i call it hard work they have never missed with their dances!)

I think jimin and j hope are incredible dancers as well as the others as an ot7 bias though when they dance my eyes draw to yoongi and rm . I think its because they and jin improved so much from their other stuff . And yoongi is like this adorable cat lol 😹

i don't know if this answers your question mckay 😭 but i watch dance vids or perfomances 8 times minimum, 1 for each member then them as a whole. but I gotta say, I watched lot of JK's cause his energy is insane. It usually depends on what song, for Black Swan, I lean more into Jimin and with Mic Drop i go with Hobi. Taehyung's Singularity made my jaw drop. But then, Yoongi just dropped the Haegeum dance challenge. Namjoon (W Carter, i also love that part) and Jin truly improved and even with other ppl saying they're not good at it, I beg their pardon cause you have to be extraordinarily good to keep up with BTS' choreos.

bts are professionals, lol! that’s really all there is to it. i think the chemistry between the 7 guys has alwayssss shined through whenever they perform. i have always enjoyed their choreography over the years—i love watching them all dance but my eyes usually go to j-hope/jungkook/jimin first!

I have done dance professionally when I was younger, mainly ballet and latin dance. What Jhope does for his dances shocks me, because of how original it is. But how Jimin dances is just mesmerizing! As an ex-ballet dancer, this man is art itself, that's why Jimin is my bias. Jk and V are also really good. Other 3 are not like pro dancers, but they are better than a lot of people I know, who dance professionally. P.S. you should watch RUN BTS, it is very good

My eyes go straight to Jimin when it comes to dance especially live performances. Jimin does something new each performance he just adds something unique to the performances and he’s enchanting. He really gets loss in the music. Like I have to rewatch the video like 10 times because the first 3 my eyes locked on Jimin lol. Jimin never dances the song the same it’s always different But then I go to Jhope too. I love seeing them both dance and I wish we had more duo stages with those two. As the main dancers we don’t have many with those 2 and I would love more. You see the foot work on both of them in 2.0 ?? 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Fun underrated fact, Tae also mentioned in an older interview that he had to choose between saxophone and dancing, his dad told him to choose one to focus on, and he chose dance classes, he even mentioned it briefly again in a recent interview this year. Also the fact that jk was sent to LA back then and took dance lessons there for awhile before debut. I know jimin and hobi come from a more professional background but still i believe we should mention these facts more often 💜

I watch it at least 8 times. One for each member, then holistically lol. BUT I might also watch extra times for Jimin, JK, and V. I love V's effortless fluidity. Jimin has lovely fluidity as well but his is a different and equally impressive kind, which is powerful and controlled. JHope and V are also very swaggy but it's the same thing. JHope's swaggy is sharp and confident and energetic, and V's is effortless swag. Jungkook draws my eye alot also. He's very hard-hitting and powerful and it's almost impossible to miss him. I mean, I just listed the dance line so that's not all that surprising haha. But they ALL keep up with no problem and just being able to be synchronized and keep up with JHope and Jimin, automatically makes you a class dancer in my eyes.

Yes BTS set a new standard in dancing. They came out with aggressive and powerful choreography performances. Setting a new trend in kpop. Most kpop groups were not dancing as hard as BTS or having huge performances. A lot of new idols groups that came after BTS looks for a dancer in contemporary and ballet due to Jimin and BTS using his contemporary background to make more unique choreography Just like more groups copied the family dynamics and looking for actual song writers to be in the group. BTS set the trend for a lot things even other groups having variety shows. Y’all need to accept if it wasn’t for BTS y’all fav groups would not be here

They wear their own clothes for dance practices (you'll often see them wearing things they've worn in personal lives, or even in other DPs). They all are ambassadors for fashion brands and get tons of clothes, and they all have their own unique fashion sense. The more DPs the more you'll understand their styles. V is almost always wearing stuff that looks like loungewear or pajamas, and he's frequently worn slider, slippers, he wears head bands and bandanas a lot. Jimin and JK wear a lot of sports wear, usually in black, white, and grey (except that time Jimin went viral for what he wore in that ONE dance practice....iykyk). For a while Jimin used to mostly wear long oversized tops with black tights (typical dancer gear), but has gone back to wearing beanies, baseball caps, and sportswear. JK wears a lot sweatpants sets, mostly black and bucket hat or baseball hats that hide most of his face. He went through a Tims phase (I think they all did lol). And people watching were in awe that he could dance so lightly in such big boots. Suga tends to wear typical b-boy wear. Baggy tees with long sleeve tee underneath, with basketball shorts or pants. He also went through a skinny pants and pumas phase. RM tends to wear drawstring shorts a lot, and sweatshirts or hoodies. He sweats a lot, so he also sometimes just wears long tees or short sleeve ts. Jin tends to wear preppy sports wear. Basketball pants paired with a tee, and a varsity-style jacket or zipper-front hoodie on top. Golf/ open bomber jackets too. J Hope is ALWAYS styling. He looks like he's attending Paris Fashion week in most cases. Colorful street wear mostly. Things that move with his dancing. Edited: it wasn't the Dynamite Mama DP that had my favorite outfit. I can't remember which one it was but he was wearing like a very pale periwinkle baggy dress shirt tucked into some white flowy pants if I recall, and he was FLY. His hair was platinum/silver.

They use a lot of vaporizers (you all noticed the vaporizer in Run BTS 2.0 Trip). BC spaces like this get dry, they constantly have vaporizers to keep their throats conditioned. Especially when you are breathing hard bc of cardio, dry air can be too abrasive for your throat, if you are needing to sing later.

Honestly I have never seen V NOT completely murder (in a good way) a dance move. So I never understood him not being in the dance line except maybe when he was doing his drama, he didn't have time or energy to do the extra practices that I'm sure 3j had to do. He is SO FLUID and natural with it. I actually think what he does best out of anyone, is he always does the exact essence of the dance, but it such an effortless way it doesn't even look like he's trying, despite killing it. It's something about his calm facial expressions. He is quick and sharp, efficient without putting too much on it and it just comes off looking so cool.

Each time I focus on one member because I used to dance,and it’s so fun catching the little details each member does They’re not always doing the exact same moves and that makes it even more interesting also really like JHopes dance style this man has never had a bad verse or a bad dance Lmao

My favorite DPs are Fire, Run BTS, and Idol (pretty sure Jimin snapped his neck several times in Idol, and I think that should be honored lol). And Airplane PT 2, but the reason why is only between me and Jesus. And Baepsae...and the reason why is only between me and God. Not even Jesus is invited to that one.

if you think about it, only 2 members Jhope and Jimin were really experienced in dancing before joining the group. Jungkook also got a lot of dance training before the debut (he went over to America and did some dance training I’m pretty sure) but all the other members weren’t really that experienced in it and were having to keep up with Jimin (a number one student at a dance academy) and Jhope who won competitions for dancing!! Jungkook, Jhope and Jimin are part of the dance line and later on Taehyung ( V ) was also added to the dance line. I think Suga also has a little bit of B-boying experience but Jin and Rm were the ones with no experience at all. But those two practiced extra and harder and with the help of the dance line were able to eventually keep up with the rest. Now you wouldn’t even be able to tell Jin and Rm had no experience, they worked extra hard to blend into the group dance wise and their hard work definitely paid off!!!

If you can believe it, there are some sadly uninformed people out that there that compare BTS to NSync bc they are a boyband that dance. Meanwhile there are professional dancers that put them in the same league as dance crews. BTS as popular as they have become I feel, still have not gotten on the flowers they deserve. Hooligan’s choreo isn’t super dance-heavy compared to other songs, but it’s still really cool to watch how they move with the backup dancers and stay perfectly in sync. BTS usually has a dance practice for pretty much every song, and they’re great for focusing purely on the choreography (especially since some MVs barely show it or don’t include it at all). This is why the ON dance practice is so greatly recommended, as you know the dance break is insane!

Cannon, I am THE SAME way about dancing. I feel your pain. It sucks because I used to love it when I was a kid and even started dance lessons but the place would blast the music so loud you could hear the speakers crackling and I developed some aversion to it and social anxiety cuz I hated that place lol Since then I hadn't danced except for a handful of times when I was forced to. After getting into BTS, I'm not even kidding, they reignited my love for dance (especially Jimin) to the point that I've been researching places to go to for classes. Maybe you'll feel the same way. McKay, there are lots of youtube vidoes on Jimin's dancing technique and pro dancer's critiquing. I don't want to link them since they're spoilery. It'll be more fun for you to see the original dances yourself. And yeah it's so hard to concentrate on who to look at but my eyes always follow Jimin naturally. Love that you guys chose to check out dance practices. They are definitely their own category of entertainment in the BTS/K-pop world. There are some songs for me where it's more fun to watch the dance practice than the actual mv even lol Also, to kind of answer what you were wondering about, they have whole behind the scenes vids where you kind of get the idea of how many times they practice a choreo. I hope I don’t get cooked for this, but just based on how fans GENERALLY talk about their dance strengths (not a strict ranking at all, just the usual grouping you’ll see): DANCE LINE 1. J-Hope/Jimin (both are seen as the main standouts, just in different ways) 2. Jungkook (super strong and really versatile) 3. V (more about style and expression) NOT DANCE LINE 4. Suga 5. RM 6. Jin This isn’t to say anyone is “bad” at dancing at all, BTS choreo is insane and they all keep up really well. It’s just more about who’s known for dance vs who focuses more on other roles in the group!

Some times, I even prefer it to the mvs. Especially for a lot of newer kpop groups I've seen where the mvs are just a lot of random CGI scenes and fast cuts, making them too chaotic. It still irritates me lol. As a woman I'm ashamed to say I can't stand screeching female voices. For some reason it's ok if it's a deeper male bass sound...less intrusive. But there is NOTHING Hooliganish, or hardhitting about some Minnie Mouse-ish "let's gooooooo!!!" piercing through the song. I hope they don't do that again. It was ok when they did it in the On DP bc it was placed only in specific spots, and it was a good blend of low and high voices. This was allover the place and distracting. And the most annoying voices were the loudest.

Since a lot overlook V's dance skills & background, also the fact that he's a part of the dance line now, I will be the one to tell you more about him as my bias. V started taking saxophone and dance classes before debut, his dad told him to choose one to focus on and V chose to keep the dance lessons and kept taking classes even before auditioning in bighit (V mentioned it in an old and a recent interview). He worked so hard on himself from a younger age and developed his own style and swag. And as a matter of fact, Taehyung is the only member with the retention to remember almost all their older choreography, making him the group's unofficial 'dance database' during practices. Not only is he the fastest to pick up new routines (as confirmed by Hobi and the rest of the group) but his influence stretches across the industry as well. There’s a reason he’s called the 'Idol of Idols'.. new idols constantly study his stage presence, facial expressions and unique style. And despite his record-breaking fancam views, for some reason he remains an underrated dancer whose technical skill and role in the dance line deserve far more recognition, especially in our fandom...I love everyone's dancing but I will always be swept by V's uniqueness 💜

j-hope. I am a j-hope bias and usually have a hard time tearing my eyes off of him. But they are all amazing dancers. The official Dance Line of the best dancers, from the top, are j-hope, Jimin, JK and V. j-hope is the Dance Leader, who guides the others in practice and performances. In terms of overall skill and talent the others are, from best to "worst" Suga, RM, Jin. But even Jin keeps up seamlessly with the Dance Line, who are some of the best dancers in the industry. He does work hard to do that, taking extra practice time on his own so he does not slow the others down.

Guys, the most beautiful moment in life: young forever (compilation album) is turning 10 years old this Saturday, and that’s such a legendary era! You could even say it was a turning point in bts’ career (the members have mentioned that as well), they got their first music show win with it and later won their first album of the year at a major award show!

Since you already know Arirang, you would know most of the songs (you can also check out a few other songs that are gonna be there before watching the concert if you want) and it's gonna show you how their current tour looks like. Also, in the videos before you mentioned a few times that you want to see more Jin, so I think that concert would be perfect for that! I’d love to see you guys do more album reactions! Not all of BTS’s albums are as long as ARIRANG, and I think it would help you get through their discography a lot faster. A fun way to do it could be listening to the songs in order, maybe with lyric videos, and then reacting to the MVs for the songs that have them, kind of like what you did with ARIRANG and SWIM. If you only react to MVs, you’re going to miss so many amazing b-sides that never got videos, especially some of their more chill or emotionally driven songs. I think it would be awesome to start with their oldest album, and work your way up in chronological order to see their growth and sound change. Not a lot of reactors do this, so it would be a unique method! Just a suggestion for the future, even if it’s not tomorrow :)

I love them all and all of them shine during certain dance practices and songs imo. I do however love watching jimin in particular because of the small details he adds, fluidity and his isolations. All of them are amazing though. Jimin doesn't do a lot of contemporary but when we do get to see it it's mesmerizing.

PLEASE DO NOT REACT TO ARIRANG TOKYO CONCERT. You will get a subpar concert experience. They always choose a series of stops that they set up specifically for viewing/streaming, and officially release it later. The cameras literally cut out EVERY epic dance move with tons of close ups of the singers instead of panning out for the choreo. Sorry but people who want them to use their one Arirang concert reaction ticket on an early concert in the tour, before the official concert content that WILL EVENTUALLY BE RELEASED, are being short-sighted and impatient (and those people plan on watching every concert released so it doesn't matter if the one they want you to watch is not a good representation. But they don't realize that Geks are probably only going to watch one version). Why do you want them to react to a concert that doesn't show the actual concert?

@Loly, This is true. But the early concerts that were recorded, don't show the full scale bc it's not recorded for release, like the ones they set up for release on Disney in the past. What is the point of them watching a live concert that doesn't show the choreo, only close ups of the member singing? They will only watch Arirang concert once. Why do you want them to waste it? Also, I am convinced that some of those crying for the Tokyo concerts, haven't actually watched the full concert footage, and are basing their desire on the awesome fan cams (very few of the fan cam footage of iconic moments, are on the concert footage). Not to mention it's a bootleg release and it looks like it. Instead of 4k, it's hazy, with no edits or directon. I just watched a reaction to the Tokyo concert and the reactors complained that they couldn't see the choreo (like literally EVERY group choreo, and there wasn't even that much already, the camera either focused up someone's nostril, or it was zoomed out to the stadium view.

@ria Exactly. And there are still live performances of some of the Arirang songs (like the Spotify Fan event), to quench some of the thirst. But they literally just reacted to several of the songs in the Netflix live, and at a much better quality than the bootleg versions. There are tons of 4k official release concerts they also haven't watched bc they're new to BTS. They can at least start with those while they're waiting. They won't forget about Arirang by the time the concert gets released, as it's their first comeback. And you always remember your first comeback. Honestly as a happy medium I'd rather them watch fancams of specific song performances, as those are better quality that the concert cams.

I mean I get what you're saying and you can't have a bad time watching any BTS concert. But many of us aren't here just to watch people "vibe" to BTS. We want them to experience their greatest moments like so many of us got to, and having them speedrun to low-quality bootleg (probably filmed at the live streamed movies they did in some locations), for their first full concert, and the concert of their first comeback era, is not supporting and guiding them in their best journey, or encouraging the consumption of the best BTS has to offer (and we know how much the guys value good camera work...I mean they released that "bad, better, good camera" dance performance specifically to clap back at bad camera work of their live performance. We also don't want to encourage them to consume and share bootlegged content that doesn't directly support the guys' efforts. They will likely release the concert on an official platform this summer, which is not that far away. This is their first time doing a concert on a 360 stage and it's going to take some more practical experience for them to get the camera angles and filming just right. They've already begun making improvements to the show even by the time they reached Tampa. Just being a little bit patient will yield better experiences for the reactors and for people wanting and wiling to wait for them to watch this historic concert. If there is ANY concert that should be held with the highest reverence and approach, it's a concert for their comeback tour for the first time in 6 years, and the Gek's first comeback that they've been following. It's not just "a concert" and a vibing good time. And I'll be honest, I'll be at least a lil pissed if they get convinced to waste their watch on a bootlegged foggy-ass, no camera angle having footage just bc people can't wait and see. So say they react to it tomorrow. Then what will you have to look forward to? That's all some people have been spamming them about as if that is the ONLY thing you want them to watch.

They're still improving the show production as they go, and filming a 360 stage is a very technical and challenging thing and I feel like they are always improving and tweaking things as they go. They will likely do a summer drop (they're not going to wait until the tour is over I am positive about that). Either widely distributed in theaters, or some streaming platform. This tour is MONUMENTAL, not just in size, but in legacy. They're not going to just leave it at fogged up, 750 quality with no focus on the performance.

And of course you have the right as everyone here to request what you'd like, but if you get what you think you want, and they come out with a better version in a month or 2, you'll be wanting them to do that. I'm just tryna help out your future self. They don't seem too keen on long format concerts. I wouldn't be too surprised if they picked MMA 2019 and called it a concert bc it was 45 min vs 2 hours. So I cannot imagine them rewatching the same concert. I get wanting them to watch lives. And there are SO MANY lives and concerts that have already been properly rolled out, so I don't know why you don't push those harder than directing them to less worthy content.

I agree. They've already reacted to the Netflix special, listened to an entire album, and watched MMA 2019, and a documentary all w/in a month. Those are things that are usually way spaced out with reactors. I don't want to take advantage and make it seem they have to react to a concert every week. I'd rather they at least know the songs before watching a concert. People saying it doesn't matter, mostly likely already knew the songs before THEY watched the concert, so how can they say that it doesn't matter? It's a little selfish IMO to not want someone to have the experience you had, just bc you want to push them into it and they'll end up getting less out of it.

@Floo I don't understand this rationale. The same can be true for concerts. They will watch that eventually to. Do BTS perform concerts before they release the album and mvs? There is a reason for the order of things. and it's to maximize the best experience. I bet you got to enjoy the songs and mvs before watching concerts (and I'm sure that heightened your enjoyment and connection). So why do you get to enjoy the whole movie, but want to push others to the surprise ending and basically spoil them. That's only going to backfire bc you may not get the same warm, fuzzy, meaningful reaction that you're after if they can't connect to the songs they don't know. You can have one jellybean now, or you can have the whole packet later. I feel like people pushing concerts on them, are the one-jellybean participants in the experiment .

They seem to react right before posting, but I feel that leaves more room for life to get in the way and disrupt their schedule. I wish they would record multiple things and be like one step ahead, in case something happens and they can't record that day. But I know they have a packed schedule and I certainly can't (won't lol) do what they do, but it would give me anxiety to react right bf posting lol.

I just watched it today too and the cam literally missed the most iconic dance moves and member interactions that we got to see in fan cams. Example, we got to see a closeup of J Hope's face, as lovely as it is, sing "riiiiiddddde", instead of seeing the members execute that flawless arm choreo and footwork, and there were many frustrating moments like that.

Please don’t listen to people requesting arirang’s concert they’re trying to set you up 😭. The tour just started so theres no official releases of it yet, it’s just people who’ve paid and downloaded the recording so it’s gonna get taken down (on YouTube). Also because it’s just the basic paid recording it’s not clean and made for full viewership like older concerts are. If you really want to react to one of their concerts, pick Yet To Come in Busan or Permission To Dance in LA. They’ve been cleaned up and made for streaming purposes already so it has great camerawork and will introduce you to songs you haven’t heard yet.
