The older ones might be cringe now, but I love seeing new army’s see the beginning/growth. It was peak comedy but it also gives a look to them when they were quite new to American culture and not knowing English. I am glad to see they saw the older moments, we will get to see more of the geks react to the newer moments but run BTS episodes are a must! Genuinely the best content for funny moments and it’s easier to follow. Excited for the run BTS episode of V flying off the water slide, one of the best Run BTS episodes

BTS are definitely a funny group but there are kind of the mid point of chaos when it comes to Kpop groups and variety show style. Maybe past mid point. I used to think they were the funniest on the planet, but there also other completely unhinged idols out there. Got7, Super Junior, and BtoB being the first to come to mind. Also it’s a really common thing in Kpop since first generation for idols to be very active in variety content. But BTS was one of the first ones to switch from traditional TV networks to more internet in-house shows. They were kind of forced to by not being popular enough to keep a TV show going, but pioneered it at the perfect time because it’s a lot easier for global fans to access internet shows. Now it is the standard almost every idol group (with any money) has their own variety show as well

Thanks guys for the reaction. Most of the funny moments are from various episodes of Run BTS. If you want to see more of BTS's chaotic energy, I recommend watching Run BTS. You can find them on BTS's YouTube channel, BANGTANTV. You can watch them in order or just the funniest ones. For now, I recommend Run BTS episodes 39, 40, and 41. You should watch all three because they're part of the same theme or game. A more recent one that I also find very chaotic is episodes 131 and 132. There are many more.

The interview that's featured in that first video the longest at the start is actually a lot funnier on it's own rather than in the edit. A lot of the edits kind of overdo the humor and make it cringe but as Tivy said, they are a canon part of the BTS journey. There are a lot of these compilations. It's fun sometimes but I'd personally much rather see you guys watch the actual RUN BTS episodes of the clips or interviews because they're already funny on their own and you'll get the context. Of course there are some cases like V's Sexy Porny Star inside joke that make more sense in an edited video like this 🤣 The dad jokes never make sense because they're puns in Korean. The 14yr old kid with Jimin and JK in that clip is from their show American Hustle Life. You guys should watch that at some point. You'll see it soon in one of the Rise of Bangtan episodes.

1. We old armys call those videos 'crack videos' and they were a very prominant thing back in like.. 2017..2018. I was suprised that they still made me laugh today because ive defnitely grown out of those lol 2. You will see other groups with similar content (variety show, travel, etc) but the most important thing to note is that BTS pioneered all of this type of content being self produced and posted by the company. Back in their early days, the norm was for groups to be invited onto various types of tv shows, game shows, lifestyle, food travel etc. BTS were not often invited because their label didnt have any ins or pull with the networks like other groups did at the time (Also when they WERE invited, the results were often awfully edited, sometimes asked to due cringe content and on many occasions treated poorly during the filming experience)...SO they made their own show, RUN BTS. This later spawned other types of content like Bon Voyage (travel show) and In The Soop (staycation type vibes). Because this content was entirely in Bighit's control, the boys could be as off the wall and silly as they wanted..they could contribute their ideas for concepts, travel locations, activities etc..so everything feels very authentic to them. To this day they have a lovely relationship with the producers of this content and it shows in the final product. This is now often imitated by other groups but very few accomplish that authentic fun feel. Seventeen might be the closest imo.

These were so funny 😂😂 BTS' digital footprint is truly something else, def one for the history books LMAOOO But ya this is why I was looking forward to these funny moments because I feel like it shows how fun and down to earth they can be too !! ^^ Also something you guys will notice is that Namjoon's sense of humor is very sarcastic and almost like dry humor (his facial expressions and one liners crack me tf up 😂😂😂) so even if he looks deadpan he isn't actually mad or anything,, he just gets so exasperated by the guys and especially back then they only knew very little English so he had to hard carry pretty much every English interview 😭 but in that one interview where so many moments were shown i think the members were genuinely trying to help him out more by answering for themselves but it just became chaotic 😂

I think one of the best things about kpop for me personally is the difference with idols on stage and then just them being themselfs of stage.
