Man this is so sad. Sette wishing good things on Duane after the last thing they did was fight. My hearts breaking for her. Happy 4th of July!

Michael Stakely

"I got no one t' pray to". If ever there were words to prompt a reaction from Duane Adelier, it would be those.

Cassie

Sette's "I got no one t' pray to" really tore at my soul. And she was truly so devout. I'm heartbroken. But also—and I am so sorry, Sette—[vibrates in Aldish]

Will we ever know more about the makers? I wonder what they were like.

Firstly: WARGLE the intensity of emotions right now is a lot. Such raw and honest desperation, here at the end. Secondly: WARGLE cannot help but think of the first time Sette ever threw an apology at Duane, waaaay back in chapter one. Let's 👏 go 👏 Duane 👏 it is time to do your part also.

First child Sette is me, and Ilganyag's titty blood is bringing back Duane PLEASE ASHLEY I'M DYING

Judith Bradford

That silent silhouette of Sara looking on as Sette despairs of having anyone to care for her...

Stillpoint

Those crows at her back.

Flyfly

Why does she feel like she's got no one to pray to? If anything, Lady confirmed existence of her Gods, and existential despair is usually what makes people double down on being religious. I feel like I am missing something.

HandsomePenguin

I do not remember the last time my instinct to protect has been triggered so hard. Seeing Sette truly crying out for help makes me wish I could tear a hole into the Khert and scoop her up. I hope Jacaranda shares my feelings and I can live vicariously through him.

Also I'm just going to slap this bet down to see how it shakes out: "Sette! Don't" is not the full sentence, and/or is not said by Ana.
