Lotta meat on this page. Lemuel sums up pretty much what we found out at the end of last chapter about the Queen's plot at the shrine, but the idea of an attack against her today is intriguing. That might be difficult now when uh, everyone got asploded. They *really* should have held off on invading the shrine today~

The little flashback panel is baby Lemuel and Duane chatting and having snacks in dad's old print shop. The tone of Lemuel's complaint about a broken nose and vanishing brother put Duane in mind of him as a tiny whiner.

Please tell me we'll be staying on the Brothers Adelier when we come back on Monday. I don't know if I could take the stress of another cutaway.

Lemon, that better be a sweat drop of "Leysa ran off with Simon to be awesome and join the resistance" not a sweat drop of "Oh no. How do I tell him I'm boning his wife?"

Hm. I remember a bit ago you mentioned you were doing something near the end of Book 1 that would make a lot of people mad, or something. Ever since I've been suspecting, more and more lately--Ashley, are you splitting the party? Are The Zombie and The Brat about to actually go their separate ways for a very long time? At this point it seems almost crystal clear that's where we're headed... I... actually am OK with that. I guess a lot of people won't be. But I think it'll be better for Sette to go on her own adventure with her new friends (please let that be including Jivi and Matty please oh please), away from Duane. And Duane will figure his shit out eventually either way, and I'm glad The Brothers Adelier are finally reunited. And maybe even the rest of Duane's family, too (er, I hope--you've made me worry just now)! I'd love to see Duane and Sette patch things up, but that can wait, and they aren't ready for it yet anyway. I'll only be as mad as everyone else if we don't still get shitloads of screentime focusing on both of them in their separate adventures! Please don't sideline one of them!

Now Lem whispers in his headset to his long range plats on the Vliegeng "Zombie who talks too much on my 12 o'clock, engage with everything you've got."

If Lem married his brother's widow, I'll be even more irked at him than I have been since the Foi Hellick BBQ.
